Why don't we show each other our desktops. I'll wager some of you have
some beautiful animals on there. I will start it.

Not at all - and my dogs aren't on my desktop - they are in my avatar and siggy. I thought the desktop was the subject. Sorry you took offense to my attempt at a little humor! Have a good evening.....
And thank you - I think my dogs are cute too.

Gorgeous kitty! One of yours? Or a friend?

I don't know how to make that photo of the desktop? Doesn't matter in my case, I have the default from when I bought the 'puter 4 years ago. Sorry to disappoint, lol. But I'll be sure to stop back in on this thread, I think you are right, there will be some great ones!

TwisterDog - I love the purple trees! Are they from Webshots? I'd like to add them to my cache.

Mine is a photo I took some time ago at the safari in Verona. It's a beautiful white peacock who was aggressively guarding his female's nesting site. He would turn his body with his tail displayed fully to block the view with the angle of the passing cars and was very vocal when telling everyone to keep away.

BTW if you guys are talking about the thumbnails like I one I posted it is very simple. They simply display like this when you manage (add) an attachment to a post.

I know how to attach photos and I know that they'll make thumbnails. I guess I was just wondering how do you get the picture of your desktop to then post as an attachment? I'm sure that you're not all taking pictures of it with your cameras.

D'uh I should have known better. LOL

That one is pretty simple too. Simply click Ctrl + PrtScrn (Print Screen). Then open paint which is under accessories and paste. The 'photo' of your desktop will then be able to be saved.

This is my desktop. I love the picture, and it's easy to see which documents I have laying around there. I try to keep it clutter free, though. ;) On the PC, I had a wonderful polar bear.

It's called Drag Thing. I use it all the time and like Stephen Fry says... " I don't know how I ever lived without it..."

Here are a few link that explain about it - check it out! :)

It is a beautiful cat but it is not mine. Oddly enough I go to a jigsaw puzzle site and this was one of the puzzles. I took a screenshot of it and now it is my main wallpaper.
