Perspicacity Purrsonality "Good Boy" 11 July 1999 - 8 April 2011

My Cassy went to the rainbow bridge this morning. We thought he had an infection and seemed to be slowly recuperating. He took a sudden turn for the worse and failed rapidly. The vet diagnosed him with Lung Cancer this morning. Putting him out of his misery seemed the kindest course.

The house seems so empty without my love bug, my precious baby.

AmberLee, I just received your e-mail about him and I'm still in shock about his passing.:( I know it was very difficult to let him go but you did the right thing and now he's pain free. Amberlee, it saddens me to hear you have lost Cassy. :( What a shock! Saying goodbye to a loved one is one of the hardest things ever, but I hope it will be comfort that he had a good long life with you. He is free of pain now and settling in at the RB with Livvy and his old friends. :)

We are so sorry Amberlee. It is always a shock when we lose a Cat who seems to be recovering, and Cassy was not that old that you would even suspect that he was that ill.
Cassy is such a Great Cat and now he is resplendent in his Wings of Silver and Gold, and now he will join Our Awesome Angels Army in New Orleans.
Cassy will make so many friends now in Paradise and will have found a Special Place for you to be reunited in love.

I talked to AmberLee earlier this evening and she's doing okay but still has her good and bad moments.:( I also told her that I wanted to include some pictures of Cassy in this thread that I took of him when she used to live close to me. She said that would be fine. Here are 7 pictures and some were taken in 2003 and some in 2005. Cassy was such a handsome boy and he sure did love his meowmie very much.:love:

Amberlee, I just saw this thread and I am so sorry that I didn't find it sooner. I wish I could reach out and give you some warm hugs to comfort you right now. Oh, it is so painful to lose our babies - we love them so much.

We just never seem to be able to have them as long as we want and it is gut wrenching to let them go - even when it is the best thing for them.

Amber Lee, I am so sorry to see your beloved boy has passed away. Cancer seems to affect so many in this world both human and animal. I know that one day you will look back and think so many happy memories of your boy, and smile and laugh at the thought of him. I do that with my beloved Jack now. I still feel sad sometimes, but most of the time I remember the funny, sweet things he did and why I loved him so so much.:love::love:
