Listening to the rain hit the windows this morning, I pulled the blankets up over me and laid in bed, thankful that I have another day to be thankful for. Thanx again, friends, for all the birthday wishes. It was a good day. My birthday gift to myself was a day at the hairdresser. I went back to my natural color, which is dark brown w/red highlights. I just got tired of looking and feeling like a faded house dress. My face is pale, my hair was pale and if I stood up against a white wall, I'll bet you wouldn't have been able to see me. So now I guess I need to change my profile photo, huh?

Ha, I did have to deal w/the DMV but it was ok. It went pretty fast. I hope you had a good birthday, too. I've never shared one w/anyone before and, yes, it is kinda cool. :)

Nope, not until next year. I'm concerned about it, too, b/c of my poor vision. I see fine as long as I drive w/my glasses on but they always want you to take the vision test w/o them. I'm lucky to even see the sign let alone the numbers and letters w/o my glasses. Last time I renewed my license, I just guessed at it and the girl said "You're fine". I didn't argue but she really should have failed me. Scary to think of how many people are driving w/poor vision and not wearing glasses.

Mary, Indiana makes it "conditional licence" if you wear glasses you must
have them on when you drive. It's also noted on the licence itself. If you
are stopped or have an accident and are not wearing them, you get a
ticket. Does Ohio have the same law?

I honestly don't know if we have the same law or not but I needn't worry b/c I would never drive w/o my glasses. I can't! LOL
