My Harry is every bit as loud as Smokey :D

In fact, I was in bed this morning petting him and thought it would be fun to do a video of his purr.... then I opened my computer to find that news story.

:) Yes I had seen this baby before.. The purring is for sure very loud.. This baby is a Adorable American Shorthair..

I want one like Smokey! I love the sound of purring much more than that of some ol' newscaster!:D

What a sweet, happy boy! So sad that this was his 8th!! home and her husband wanted him gone! Ugghh!:(

:) I have a feeling the Wife will stay with the kitty baby && kick the husband out.. I know I would for sure.. My Kitty Babies Come First Before Any Man..


What a sweet, happy boy! So sad that this was his 8th!! home and her husband wanted him gone! Ugghh!:(

What an adorable cat.:) At first I thought that the cat would have the loudest meow and I immediately thought of my Pearl who is extremely loud.;)

And I thought of My Moose the MagnfiCat:love::love::love: who had such a Thunder Purr. I cannot believe that this is this Cats's eighth home , who would give a Cat away for purring.:confused:
That fellow is an idiot, a purrrrrr is a beautiful thing!!!:love::love::love:

When he had one of his temper tantrums, Chessie used to get quite loud, so loud that I could hear him outside with the doors and windows closed.

At about 8:30 in this video of him and Casey, you'll hear him go into one of his temper tantrums. This was about 24 hours after he and Casey were introduced.

When this aired on the news, Mickey was napping in another room. He comes running into the den, looks at Cassie napping on the couch, then at Simba curled up on my lap. He looks back and forth between the two and is confused :confused:as to who is purring so loud. He paces about not realizing it's coming from the TV.:) thinking I must have brought another cat into our home.:( He gave up a few minutes later when he no longer heard the purring and found no other cat:)

I played it again on my computer and yes, Mickey came running. This time though he just looked at the speakers:confused:

Gotta love the antics of cats!! :love::love:
