I've been trying to get a picture of Ole running but its so hard since A. he never wants to leave the couch and B. He likes to be standing next to me so it's hard to get one of him running.

Crayons, you could put Ole on a leash and give the leash to someone else, then go a distance away and get down on the ground, ready the camera and then call him and have the other person let go of the leash! As you so wants to be with you, that should work in your favor!

You've inspired me to create a project just of Basset Hounds - mostly acrylic painting, 3 8x10 canvases - I'll have to post the finished product! :)

Love the Basset Hound pictures. They have that determined look in their eyes. LOL! Years ago I was at a dog show & there was a pen of young Bassest Hounds & they were all excited to have a pet. Well, they all piled up on the fence at the same time for their pet & it was one of those plastic snow fences. I ended up using my knees to hold the fence in place while I gave each pup a pet. :D

haha, my sister sent that to me a few days ago. I really, really hope that's how Babs looks when she's older! Right now she just kind of stumbles to wherever she's going, occasionally stepping on her ears and falling :D
