Hannah's Dance Recital Costume

The costumes came in today for the dance recital in June. OMG they are cute and Hannah wants to wear it ALL the time ... but alas she can't. don't want to wreck it before the recital lol

without further ado... here is the costume (minus the big shoes she's wearing in this photo lol)

How cute. Good luck in keeping her from wearing it. She is going to pester the daylights out of you about it. Maybe (?) if you just put it up, she'll forget about it????????? Maybe....:confused:

So you get to buy their costumes now? I took dance lessons for several years before I messed up my knee, and my mother made all of mine. The dance instructor picked out the pattern and material, and it was up to the mothers to then buy the pattern, materials, and whip it all together. Luckily, my mother was quite a good seamstress, and other less talented mothers would pay Mom to make their daughter's too.

Oh yeah.. I don't sew lol so if I had to make it myself she wouldn't be in the recital LOL

Now they just take measurements of the kids and then order the costumes. This one only cost $20 lol thank goodness... as they get older though they get pricier.

I was wondering when you would post more Hannah pictures, seems such a long time since the last ones....she was probably too camera shy, you're lucky you were able to coax her to pose for us today :D

Thanks everyone. She sure is aware of how cute she is lol. I said this morning that if she got any cuter they would start taxing us for having more cute than everyone else and then Brian says "Says her mother" LOL I might be a LITTLE biased
