Ziggy Stardust!

I copied this from Malibu's kitty introduction thread for Ziggy's fans :D cos I know I'm not the only Ziggy fan.

Hello, beautiful Ziggy! I always love to see photos of you! I didn't know the story about your orange and wh ite brother-kitty. I'm so glad that you both were found and made safe! and Pearl, too! Could you please have mom give you and all your kitty-siblings some petting from me.

Well she's a DLH Tabby with a very fluffy,bushy tail. She's also very large for a female and weighs about 13-14lbs or maybe a bit more. She may have some Maine Coon or Norwegian Forest Cat in her. She'll be 5 in late June and she was found in the Phoenix,AZ area by PT members where she and her brother were dumped as kittens in a feral cat park. Her brother is an orange and white short hair and still lives with the PT members who found him.

My cat Pearl was also found dumped in the same location as Ziggy Stardust a year earlier with her 3 brothers by the same people. I'll never understand why people dump animals.:(

Sure Elyse.:) I actually made a typo error about Pearl though. I meant to say that she was also dumped a year earlier in the same location with her 3 brothers and she was found by the same PT members. They don't know who dumped the kittens. K & L found Pearl and her 3 brothers in a cage in the feral park where they would go feed all of the cats every day. K & L posted pictures and I fell in love with Pearl. Pearl was also my grandmother's name so her name had a lot of meaning to me. I flew to their home and I got to meet them, their wonderful cats, and some friends. Catsnclay is one of their friends that is also a PT member so we had a mini PT meeting as well.:) Pearl's 3 brothers got adopted and 2 of them got to stay together. After a few days I flew home with Pearl.

The next summer K & L posted Ziggy Stardust's and Chowder's pictures and I fell in love with Ziggy. She reminded me of my Sky except that she had two different colored eyes. I flew to K & L's again and stayed a few days and then flew home with Ziggy Stardust. I liked her name so I kept it. They tried to find a home for Chowder but ended up keeping him. Here's a picture of him from one of K&L's threads.

Oh my goodness, look at the baby kitten Ziggy!!! She was (and still is) adorable!!! :D
I think its so funny to look back at baby pictures. You forget so easily how teeny and fluffy they were. I look back at pix of Jax (and he's not even a year old yet) and can't believe how tiny he was. :)

Overdo it with pictures?! No chance! I am always thrilled to see pictures!

Look at how small Ziggy was as a kitten! She grew in size and even more beautiful! I adopted Cassie when she was pretty much full grown, so I missed out on her kitten-hood.

Pearl reminds me so much of my sister's RB cat Poco. He too was found outdoors.
