http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidiflips3.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidisnuggy4.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidilappy5.jpgHeidi flipped over inside the gate last night ,snuggled up tight to my chair and cuddling on Mom's lap.Heidi had 3 timeouts for biting and licking Mom's pants,she had a blitz around the rec room,played with toys,had a snack after going out.Heidi snoozed under and next to my chair,eventually cuddled up with Mom before bed,after 9,she starts to wind down.Yesterday ,we got an inch of wet snow,overnight,it changed to rain and to rain all day,snow will all go away.Heidi had to go out in it this morning,gets a little wet,she doesn't mind it,Fritz would be out and right back in.Heidi left a boo boo in my bedroom.wasn't happy.She cuddled with me after breakfast,gave me licks,was with Mom then brought her down in the bed ,now is snoozing inside the gate.I had a good sleep this morning,until 10 to 7 ,Mom beat me up,usually the other way around.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidiflips4.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidisnuzzin7.jpgHeidi flipped over snoozing Thursday afternoon and this morning snoozing next to my chair.Last night,she had three timeouts for biting at Mom,other times she would cuddle with ,Mom and either snorting or snoring,quite loud.She had her plays,had a snack of food and water then either snoozed under my chair or in front of Mom's chair.It rained all day yesterday,I shoveled slushy snow off the driveway,it it was heavy ,Heidi doesn't mind the rain,doesn't come in right away like Fritz would have.This morning,she pooped on the mat in Mom's room ad Mom on the other side of the bed,Mom wasn't happy with her then she had a blitz around the living room,caught her and brought her down in the bed,she has played a bit now snoozing,waiting for the Aunties to come maybe between 10 and 10:30.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidibev1.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidiirene1.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidiirene2.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidiirene3.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidiirene4.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidiirene5.jpgHeidi greeting Bev and Irene when they came Friday and Heidi up on Irene's lap sitting and looking outside.They came a little early about 25 to 10 and Mom was still at the hairdressers I was down here with Heidi and she didn't hear them come so I told her and we both went up,there were snow flurries yesterday.Heidi went back and forth between Irene and Bev kissing them,tail going all the time even when we went to the living room to sit down after having Tim Horton Doughnuts.Heidi got 1 timeout for biting at Irene's sweater,was put in the cage when we had Tuna and Salmon sandwiches,after that let her out and she went back and forth between them.Irene looks good,Bev has trouble getting up form sitting and bed,has Arthritis.Heidi had a snooze after they left,had some food for lunch then supper,she had a blitz while i was getting ready go for a bath,she would bite at Mom's feet ,i heard her upstairs so came down and put her in the cage for a few minutes until i had my bath.She had a snack of food later,had a little play then napped at my feet then with Mom right before bed,she went up to the door to go out and then in to sleep.This morning,s didn't stay out long enough and pooped in my bedroom,had a play with her bone toy she brings it to me,I tug with the toy then throw it,she brings it back,then she wags her tail get me to throw it again,kept doing that until she got tired and and I brought her down here,had a little play then a nap,is napping now by the chair snorting.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidisittin1.jpgHeidi sitting in Mom's chair Saturday afternoon.Mom had been down here talking on the phone and Heidi was up in the chair with her.Heidi spent most of Saturday down here playing or sleeping,would come up to eat or to got out.She went to her cage when we went to McDonald's for Big Macs.Later on,she had her snack of food and some water,had a timeout for biting.She snoozed with Mom just before bed time,went out.She went out to this morning and in to eat and out again then greeted Mom in the dark,mom couldn't get out of bed until I picked Heidi up.She was bad this morning,pooped in Mom's room,she had a play with the rope bone with me,down here right now, just hanging around,soon getting ready for church,missed it the last two weeks due to shoveling snow.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidisnuzzin8.jpgHeidi Sunday afternoon snoozing behind my chair.She had no timeouts yesterday,she was in her cage when we went to church,when we came in,never heard a sound from her,then put her outside then down here with me where she played a bit then napped,we we were all tire due to the time change early Sunday morning.She had her snack last night,had a little play then would snooze a bit then outside.She would snooze at my feet then goes to mom just before we go to bed.Last night ,we were watching America's Funniest Home Videos and there were dogs barking,she heard it and looked right at the TV and barked at them,Mom and I got a big kick out of that,Fritz never looked at the TV but Ruffles did.We were told that Heidi's Dad watches hockey games so that is she got it from.Heidi had her morning play with me,gets me to tug the rope toy then throw it and she gets it,she sets it down the wags her tail for me to throw it.I brought her down here where she has napped has been out twice on the patio wandering around,sun is shining,still a bit cool,supposed to go up to the mid 50's later in the week with some showers.The Aunties brought pictures of a dog from where they live ,it is a Shih Tzu,name is Swiffer,don't know if it is a boy or girl,it has beige markings and white.When it gets warmer,we will visit them and probably will see the Swiffer.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidisnuzzin9.jpgHeidi having sa snooze Monday morning behind my chair.After breakfast yesterday and today.I played tug with her with eh rope bone ,she gets me to tug it and I throw it,she fetches it and brings it back,I don't throw it right away,her tail starts wagging so I throw it.Sher gave me kisses after having cereal,she is down here with me now,had a snooze,was up for a drink,was checking out the fireplace when it came on .She didn't have a timeout yesterday but was put in the cage when Mom was eating a Date Square,she would be right after Mom for it,so stays in the cage until she is done.She keeps hearing noises on TV or outside and starts barking,she has got great hearing.She is snoozing at ,my feet right now,she just heard a noise and is sitting up and growling.Sunny right now and 32,showers tonight and into tomorrow afternoon and Thursday evening into Friday.Heidi now weighs 12 pounds,eats really good.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidiflag4.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidibottle1.jpgHeidi sitting between the flags yesterday and last night playing with a water bottle,she would bat it around and if it didn't move ,she would bark at it,she had a great time with it and had a snooze after playing,She had a couple of blitzes around the rec room ,growling while doing it,before we went to bed,she heads over to Mom and rests in front of her chair.She was put in her cage once last night,not a timeout,Mom had some chips and she was afraid Heidi would be bugging her put in the chair so that's why she went there.This morning,we had our play of tug with her rope bone ad played with an Orange squeaky.She peed in my bedroom while I was making the bed,wasn't happy with her.After this,brought her down in the bed ,she then played with a slipper then had a snooze,now up with Mom in the living room,for how long,anyone's guess.Larry is going to be dropping Taffy off,she will be here mot part of the day,will go home at night,maybe her during the rest of the week depends on how Marlene's hernia surgery goes this morning.getting a little snow overnight into tomorrow,maybe up to 2 inches,depends on who you listen to.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidilookin6.jpgHeidi on the other side of the coffee table looking my way at me.Heidi doesn't have her friend Taffy here right now,she wouldn't get in the truck with Larry to come here,was pouting,so is home right now,Larry may have to come from work to bring her here ,if that doesn't work,we will have to keep checking on her to see if she hasn't peed in the house, and would probably have put her put to go.Heidi got a timeout last night for biting carpet,I found this morning,she had brought it up,also found a piece of slipper, her face smelled sour so got her face washed this morning.Last night,had quite a play with a squeaky,she brings it to me to throw ,I throw, she jumps the bed to get it,that went on for a few minutes before she got tired and snoozed.She had a few small meals during the day.We went up around 10,I watched a hockey game upstairs,Toronto was playing Colorado,they won 4-3 and 3 points behind Buffalo for the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.Heidi went to see mom after eating breakfast,had a little play with me,is now down here,snoozing beside the Monkey.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidiflippin2.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidiflippin3.jpgHeidi flipped over in the sunshine Friday at noon hour .Taffy never did come yesterday,she stayed at home,Mom checked on her twice,she went out the one time and refused to go out when Mom went up the second time,just sat and wouldn't budge,she probably thought Mom was bringing her here.Heidi had her play last night where I throw it over the bed and she jumps it,that tired her out and she snoozed after,she did get a timeout for biting at Mom,she was ready to go to bed when we did around 10.She went to Mom's room after she had breakfast,had a play with the Monkey with both of us,sat with me,she got a timeout this morning for nipping at Mom and was bad in my bedroom ,she peed.After the timeout,she went out,I then mad my bed,she came down here,brought her toys down,had a little play with the monkey ,now snoozing under the stereo.Marlene comes home this morning,won't be doing a whole lot,is sore.Cold here this morning, 14 degrees when i got up,going up to only 30,same tomorrow,will get to the mid 40's by Wednesday.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidiflippin4.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidiplayin27.jpgHeidi flipped over down here at quarter to 12 Saturday morning and around quarter to 7,playing with a toy near the bed.We went out to eat last night,Mom had Liver and I had Spaghetti and Meatballs with Tomato Sauce,shared a Caesar Salad,for dessert,Mom had Rice Pudding,I had Strawberry/Rhubarb Pie.Heidi had her play with her toys where I throw it and she gets it,she eventually settled down.We had most of our lights off for Earth Day,Heidi wondered what was going on with the lights.She was a bad dog this morning,peed and pooped in Mom's room,after mom had her out.She had a play down here this morning,she has been at the carpet biting it,had a timeout this afternoon,had a couple of pieces pulled out,we are going to have do something about,maybe ask a vet when we get her fixed and micro chipped,she has got her dog tag,it cost $40.She had her supper long before we did,we had Scalloped Potatoes and Ham Steak,Lemon Meringue Pie for dessert ,Heidi now in front of Mom's chair chewing on the Monkey.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidisnuggy6.jpgHeidi last night snuggling with mom in the chair.Heidi had a play of fetch with me before I went up to have a bath,she had come to me with the squeaky in her mouth so I had to stay and play for a few minutes,she got tired and had a nap under the stereo.Heidi got a timeout for peeing ion the carpet,it was our fault for not putting her out,she had a dish of water.We had another play of fetch,she got to biting carpet again,will have to get her quit that,maybe to do with teething.She finally settled down,she was with Mom in her chair,on the floor in front of her and with me,was ready to go to bed around 10,went out first.She went and got mom up after I put her out and she had ate.She was with me in my chair,was with Mom first and made mom spill coffee,not on her this time,on the TV table.She had a play of fetch with me, she beat me down here,brought her toys,she chewed on a water bottle and is now snoozing behind me.Marlene doing pretty well,still tired,appetite not up top par yet,that will come.Heidi goes to the groomer next Wednesday,maybe right after that either Thursday or Friday,will be spayed and micro chipped.Feeling a little sad today,it's been 6 months since Fritz has been gone,I really am missing him,will be worse on June 3rd when it would have been his 9th birthday,same day as Mom's.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidiporch1.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidiporch2.jpgHeidi sitting out on the back step early Tuesday afternoon,reminds me of what Fritz used to do.While playing yesterday,Heidi peed in front of the fireplace while reaching for a toy and got a timeout,had another play after that jumping the bed to get the toy and bring it to me.This morning,after breakfast,she went to mom's room and got her up,she has a play with Mom with the Monkey,was biting at Mom's slippers then sat in my chair,had a little play with me.I brought her down here,had a little play then napped.She went to the cage,we went shopping.She had a snack after we were back,had supper before we did then stays down here while we eat and is quiet.After supper,she has had two timeouts for biting at Mom,is now under my chair.She likes her chin rubbed,Mom does it and she kind of purrs like a cat.She is going to get needles on Friday,she is going to be spayed and micro chipped,same vet we used for Fritz.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidisqueaky1.jpgHeidi this morning playing with the squeaky.We took her to the vet yesterday,she was really good,she wanted to greet all the dogs and people there,tail never stopped going.She got a canine booster and a rabies shot,got a rabies tag to go on her collar,will get another booster when she goes to be spayed on April 21st.She can't after 6 p.m. the night before,can only drink water,she has to be there at quarter to nine on the 21st and we pick her up between 4 and 6 in the afternoon,she also get a chip put in,all this costs $360.She is a tad chubby 15 pounds,the vet told us to get Adult food for her,the puppy food has more calories than the adult brand.She is also taking a couple of heartworm pills.She loved the vet,Doctor Hoogers,was kissing him during the examination,she is in good health.There was dog there that looked like Fritz,there was also another Shih Tzu,same color, the dog was 6 and a half years old.She was good on the way over,was not car sick and the way back was fine also,she had a snooze when she got home then woke up and had a play of fetch before settling down.She went to Mom's room after breakfast,Mom was already up,she was going to breakfast with some ladies,I brought her down here where she snoozed,I went out and do Spring cleanup here,may do Marlene's on Tuesday,supposed to rain on Monday all day,did her vacuuming Friday afternoon,she can't do a lot,Mom is doing her laundry,Taffy was sleeping at the bottom of the stairs going to the kitchen.We lost a member of our church choir yesterday,had a Aneurysm,will be remembering her in prayers tomorrow at church.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidipatio1.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidisnuzzin15.jpgHeidi out on the patio Saturday and in the afternoon snoozing under the chair.She was outside a few times yesterday,really loves the outdoors,once it gets warmer will get her out on the leash to go for a walk.With me down here,all she does is snooze and chew on toys,she waits until mom is down her and she wants to play,she had a play with mom while I was up in the tub,she had a couple of plays with me later on.In between plays,she would snooze,go outside and have Iams bones.he stayed in the rec room while we went to McDonald's,didn't do anything wrong.After she ate this morning,went and got Mom up.After breakfast,has a play with the Monkey then brought her down here,she just snoozed down here.I brought her up here after getting ready for church,Larry phoned,as soon as Mom gets on the phone she starts biting Mom,does it all the time and put her in the bed.After coming some,fed her her supper,is chewing on a rope bone right now.The vet told us if she bites,give her a toy to bite or put her in her cage,giving her a toys works,the cage not so sure,have tried that twice during the night and it doesn't work.Rain later this afternoon and overnight,maybe a thunderstorm,rain tomorrow,heavy at tomes and 54,out in the Prairie provinces,they are getting snow,one place today,Regina,Saskatchewan was to get 4 inches.

Heidi had a snooze after coming home,had some food,was down here snoozing again,stays here quietly when we eat supper upstairs,had a bit more food,she is front of mom's chair chewing on the rubber bone.

I took Heidi for the walk after taking mom up to the church.Heidi had a drink after the walk,had some food,snoozed down here,went out a few times,likes it out there,had a timeout tonight for biting at Mom,had a play with the Monkey,is at Mom now,Mom folding laundry for the second time.Showers the next couple of days so maybe too wet to take Heidi on a walk.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidisnuzzin18.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidilappy13.jpgHeidi snoozing under my chair last night and just before going to bed with Mom ,head resting on Mom's knee.Heidi went right to where bed last night,this morning after eating went to mom's room,both sides of the bed,Mom was watching her do it,I have to pick Heidi up,Mom can't get out or Heidi will go after her feet.She was with Mom in her chair then comes to me and sits beside me.This is where she was when I brought her down here,carried her in the bed of toys.She hasn't played yet,has been out once and had a drink,is now at my feet snoozing.It was 6 months yesterday since we got her and she will 8 months old this coming Saturday,time has flown with her and she has been a great little gal.I got a parking ticket on Friday while getting my haircut,I didn't have any change for the meter,it was a $10 fine,Mom wasn't happy, paid the fine the same day,last month she had a got a parking ticket for being too far from the curb,it was a $35 fine,warning only was written on it,Mom didn't have the ticket,she lost it,she went to the town hall where parking enforcement is and told them about it and they went and got a copy of the ticket and it said warning only so the ticket was ripped , so didn't have to pay it.We got rain overnight and this morning,maybe ,more this afternoon so will have to see if i can take Heidi for her walk which she enjoys so much.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidiwalks11.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidiwalks12.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidiwalks13.jpgHeidi on her walk on Monday around noon hour.Mom has said something to her about a walk and she knew what Mom said,I got ready for the walk,I got the leash ,she came out to the kitchen and was ready to go,got the leash on and away we went,she tends to go at her pace which is a bit fast,she does slow down some,maybe have to get a harness with the leash ,that may work.She goes up several driveways ,thinking she is home,one house looks similar to ours.When we got the Catholic school,she heard the kids,she stopped,wasn't moving so picked her up and carried her until we got by the school,one boy said hi to me.She had her supper by 1:30,Mom had gone to gift shop,I had mine around 2:30 which was Rice and Chicken pieces,at that time,Heidi was out on the patio wandering,she wanted in so took her downstairs.Later on in the evening,she had 2 Iams bones and water,had a couple of plays of fetch with the Monkey and a squeaky toy,in between had naps and was out ended up with Mom,was biting carpet again,She went out before bed,she went to Mom's room this morning,Mom had got up and need me to pick her up before she got out of bed.She sat with mom,got up too fast and hit mom in the chin,she then sat with ,me,after a bit came down on her own and i brought her toys down,all she has done is nap,she was chewing at her scarf so took that off,she is now outside likes it out there.After Mom gets back form meals On Wheels,we will take Heidi to Pet Valu to see about a harness so it will easier to walk her.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidisad1.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidimommy3.jpgHeidi last night ,looking up at me ,kind of of a sad look on her face,with Mom this morning on the couch.She had a couple of small dishes of her food last night and two Iams bones.When she got home,she pooped in the house,did the other outside.She was really tired from the operation,she would be sitting by me and head would nod off,so I put her front paws down and she snoozed,had a snooze with Mom .She was ready to g to bed last night,this morning was sitting up waiting for me,paw on the gate wanting out,her tail wagging,put her put didn't do anything,had hardly ate since 6 p.m. on Wednesday.She had some food this morning then took her mom,she sat with me and Mom.She then went to the back door,Mom thought she needed out,she knows I go downstairs in the morning so brought her down where she has snoozed,she has had more food and water and has been out so that pleases mom.She is now having a nap just inside the rec room near the stereo.Rain tonight and into tomorrow morning,chance of a thunderstorm,sunny on Easter Sunday and 52,same on Monday then rain both Tuesday and Wednesday up to the high 60's ,low70's won't enjoy that with it raining.

I'm so glad she's doing so well, Barry. She seems proud of her incision.:) I know your whole neighborhood loves her. I wish I could pick her up and give her a million kisses. Please do that for me.
I'm going to need surgery on my leg. My last knee replacement prosthesis has broken thru the femur in my left leg. I've had a broken leg since January. Finally found out. I'm now waiting for a scheduled surgery date. Having alot of pain and being real careful. The doctor is afraid the bone will snap in half.

Did you have an accident in the house because you were excited to see mom? That's too bad. But it seems like the biting isn't as much of a problem. I know you can learn not to "go" in the house even when you're super happy to see your people! You are smart!

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidirelaxin17.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidirelaxin18.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidispal2.jpgHeidi flipped over late Friday afternoon and in bed last night with her Monkey,she was scared of something last night,may have taken to bed with her as company.Heidi didn't have a walk today,we were helping Shannon with the yard sale of her daycare things.For teh most part ,Heidi stayed down in here bed,she went there on her own,it was left open and she never left it with me or anyone else coming in,one neighbor came in and Heidi got a belly rub.Buster was pretty good,he spent the most part in the back patio,knocked over a fertilizer spreader twice,had to clean that up,before that was tied up out front,got loos then was tied up along the north fence then to the patio.It was a overcast day,Shannon was to come between 5 and 6 to get things out,was not here until 20 to 8,sold some of her things not much,were mostly her daycare things,Mom sold a few things,some of dad's tools,a drill press and a Sawzall and racks of screws,bolts and nails.We packed it up early,it started to rain,we may have another dale to get rid of more things in a couple of weeks,next week is a holiday weekend here so the week after the the 28th of May.We went out to supper today,Mom pad for with money she made today,I had Chicken Souvlaki.Mom wanted to do something for Larry and Marlene's 40th Anniversary tomorrow,we are going out with them tomorrow ,same place.We found that 40 years ago tonight,Marlene and Larry had Kentucky fried Chicken and his parent's house,quite a difference.We are tired form the long day,I was ready early,Mom has been snoozing.Heidi has had Milk bones and water,she snoozed with mom,been out and now snoozing behind,is talking to Marlene now and we are going to bed as soon as she finishes talking to her.Rainy right up to Wednesday,a little cooler so won't get many walks in or grass cut.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidiwaitin19.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidistroll88.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidistroll89.jpgHeidi waiting to get out of bed this morning,had her bed crooked,probably heard me and was pawing at the door to get out and this afternoon on a stroll,didn't meet any dogs,stopped to sniff grass and smell where other dogs have been.She went and woke Mom ,from one side of the bed to the other,got up in my chair and looked outside ,had a play of fetch with her,was up in mom's chair then down here with me ,played a bit,then got ready for church.After church,one of our church members did a presentation on a hike he made with a group to the base camp of Mount Everest in October of last year to raise awareness and raise funds for Multiple Sclerosis,his wife has it..They hiked across suspension bridges,steep steps and paths that had drops of 200 feet or more,everything was carried in on Yaks and by Sherpa Porters.The air is thin up above sea level,they go so far and rest to catch their breath and go on.Next year,he is going to hike up Mount Kiliminjaro in Africa.This afternoon,Heidi has played and napped,she wanted out ot see ,I was out cutting the lawn,hadn't been done in almost a week,she had lunch and supper,wee had ours,tonight ,has played fetch,had Milk bones and water,now sitting behind me.

Mom went to a Ecumenical service at Rotary here people of all churches get together,I stayed home this year,looked after Heidi, Reverend LaFave sang with a choir of Ministers,did really good according to Mom,at our church,he puts on that he can't sing.Later on we are going out to supper with Larry and Marlene plus Shannon,Samantha and Brandyn,it was his 10th birthday yesterday, Brandyn and Samantha were with their Dad,he is to have them back by 3:30 today as supper is for 5,also celebrating Mom's which was June 3rd and Larry's which was May 31st.

Marlene over at Shannon's,Brandyn was sick at school,Larry had him at the shop,Marlene now watching him at home.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidiwaitin33.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidiwalkin18.jpgHeidi waiting to get out of bed today and on her walk this morning.She went and got Mom up, sit with her first then gets down and rolls around the carpet and barking.I have my cereal then she follows me ot the kitchen and comes back and sits in my chair,she looks out the window and she saw kids go by ad her tail starts going,she does this with everyone she sees.After making my bed, took her on a walk,she followed me to the bedroom and then to the back door.She had a good walk,we ,e the 93 year old lady I do grass on Mondays for,Heidi greeted her with jumping up and tail wagging,took her home and then went and did her Cousin's lawn by the Catholic church.mom took Heidi otr the groomers while I was doing the grass,got that done and was doing ours,was having a breaks when mom came back,she was telling she didn't know I had gone,I had told her,apparently she got upset and was crying,Heidi wondered what was going on.She was good at the groomers,she lays down while being groomed,with me she stands up always,I do her almost every day,is at the groomers every 5 weeks,not sure if she played with the 3 cats there.She got cut fairly short,not bad.The groomer Michelle noticed Heidi was a little heavy,will cut her down to 2 meals a day instead of three.Since being home,has had her lunch and supper,Marlene came by,was taking Mom to the cemetery to put a flower arrangement she did on Dad's headstone for Father's Day on Sunday,was made up mostly of Yellow flowers Dad's favorite color of flower.Heidi had been snoozing under my chair here,is now on the floor snoozing in front of Mom's chair.

An accident in Barry's room, Heidi? That can't be good.


The groomer Michelle noticed Heidi was a little heavy,will cut her down to 2 meals a day instead of three.
You look perfect to me :love: even though your groomer thinks you're a little on the heavy side. (What does your breeder advise, I wonder?) I like your cute face, your cow spot markings and your waving tail!

We're supposed to get rain in Chicago for the better part of Tuesday and Wednesday, Barry, and I hope it misses you completely! One nice day, two wet days. Two nice days, two rainy days. I'm kinda tired of rain.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidiwalkin42.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidiwalkin43.jpgHeidi on her walk Friday morning.After going out this morning,she went to Mom's bedroom and got her up.Heidi then waited for me to eat cereal then got up in the chair to look outside,didn't see anything,she got down and we played fetch with the soccer ball and the rubber bone.Heidi then wanted to go on her walk,so did that,we met the same two dogs at different points in the walk,a Shih Tzu and a Black lab that reminded me of Buster.She had a drink after getting back then we were down here,she was napping,the she brought up her breakfast ,had been outside eating weeds,I put her outside then she did it again,didn't give her any more food until her supper this afternoon.This afternoon,she has played with a bone that has two soccer balls on the ends ,looks big in her mouth,is now chewing on the rubber bone.I cleaned out all the fl0wer beds of weeds,look much better,Heidi was out with em on the patio to start then brought her down here,she stays down here quietly,no sound at all.My Aunt Wilhemenia's birthday today,she is 79,Mom took her over a card,Mom going with ladies tomorrow for a Strawberry Social,this lady goes to our church and she is 86,her name is Madlyn Wilcox,she worked at General Motors in Oshawa as a secretary, the same company dad worked for 36 years.

I'm glad you had a good anniversary day, Barry and Mom-- my mom and dad had their 60th in September 2010. Thinking of you today.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidiwaitin57.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidiwalkin67.jpgHeidi waiting to get out today and on her walk a little while later.She jumped on Mom's chair and greeted her,tried to give her a kiss then she got down and rolled around and growled.Heidi sat up in the chair and looked outside,she then had a play of fetch with the rubber bone and the soccer ball.She had enough of that ,the she was wanting tro go on her daily walk so we went,we saw the same Jack Russell,met a man that goes by out house every day,we met him on another met two ladies,Heidi wanted a belly rub.She had her drink after coming home ,then it was down here and she napped under the stereo.Mom and I went to the shopping center,she was waiting down here for us.I got a new tool called a Garden Bandit to take weeds out,it works great,cleaned out the flowerbeds and also cleaned weeds from the front sidewalk and the driveway.Heidi was out with Mom in the gazebo for awhile then back inside.We had Pizza form Dominos,she had hers before ours and was down here.We had a play of fetch with a bone with soccer balls on each end,Heidi now snoozing at Mom's feet.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidiwaitin59.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidiwalkin69.jpgHeidi waiting to get up this morning and on her walk.She greeted mom then had her roll on the carpet,sat with me in the chair and looked out and had a play of fetch with the bone.We then went on the walk,she met a lady form pu the street coming back form a walk and rolled over and had a belly rub.Heidi later on met another Shih Tzu,name was Crosby,he was a year old in January,was a bit shy of Heidi ,Heidi wanted to kiss him he didn't want to.She had a drink after getting back,her tongue hangs out to the side.I was out cleaning weeds form the North side of the house and filling cracks of the front step,Heidi was out back once or twice while I was out,not too long,was warm again today.She stayed by herself inside,Mom had to go out.After I was down came down here,she did too,Heidi had a snooze and played some.She had her Iams bones a little late,was growling at me,had her supper before me,mom was at gift shop.She had some more plays of fetch this afternoon,I went pu for a bath,Heidi goes to mom,was waiting inside the gate when I came back,gets Iams bones and water,had more plays of fetch,is now sleeping ion front of mom's chair.Heidi has been with us 9 months(July10),will be a year old on August 16th,time sure has flown with her around.

She greeted mom then rolled around on the carpet,went at her toys,sat up with me in the chair.I then went to the bedroom to use the the cell phone,there is a contest on a Toronto radio station where you can win money,up to $500,000 dollars,it happens at 7:10,8:10 and 11: 10 each weekday until the end of August,have to be the 25th caller,no luck yet,Wednesday I was the 1st caller,hoping for better luck as I go along.After this,,we went on the walk,Heidi waited in the bedroom for me.Heidi trots right along,sniffs trees,passed a couple of people then one with a little do the greeted Heidi ,no animosity between them.,She ahd a drink after getting home,came down her and snoozed under the stereo,then would play a little,had her Iams bones,played and snoozed some more,anytime Mom comes in from being out,she has to go and greet her,in the afternoon,she goes up when she needs a drink or is hungry.She had her dinner then we had ours,Pancakes and Sausage,we played fetch some more,went up for a drink then to Mom and down here again,now snoozing under the stereo again.

Barry, the grass around here has gotten brown and dry too. I've mostly noticed it these past few days. I was going to work and there was a landscaping crew from streets and sanitation cutting the grass right along the highway. That didn't make sense to me. it's super hot out and the crew members were working in long pants and long-sleeve shirts. They'll overheat in nothing flat. And why cut it, when it's so dry. Leave it for now till we get some rain. The only lawn that's green is a new bank building I pass. It has in-ground sprinklers and the lawn looks great. But everything else is just golden-brown and dry.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidirelaxer26.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidirelaxer27.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidiwaitin69.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidiwaitin70.jpgHeidi relaxing inside the gate Wednesday afternoon and waiting to get out of bed this morning.After Heidi had ate and been out,she went to Mom's room,run back and forth to both sides,mom was pretending not to see her,she finally did.After all this ,Heidi had a roll on the carpet,she sat with me in the chair and looked out and we played a bit of fetch.We came down her for a little bit before going to the groomers,no walk today ,way too warm,it was 98 degrees today,humidity making it feel around 115-120 degrees.We went in my car,Heidi rode on the back seat for the ride there,was quiet the whole way,I had to go around to her side to get ehr out didn't want to come out from the passenger side,did the same after we came homer,she got a short haircut to cool off,she was good at the groomers,her tail went when the groomer got her out the cage.She was bad at home ,she pooped by the front door,not happy.She had a drink then had 2 Iams bones then down here to cool off.She had her supper before 2,I had mine,Mom went with Marlene,Brandyn and Samantha to the Shrine Circus in Oshawa,then they were taking them home,they have to stay there until Shannon gets home from work.I had to retire the Monkey,Heidi had chewed a leg off it and stuffing was coming out so threw it away,it lasted 5 years with Fritz,didn't ruin,took Heidi almost a year to ruin it but it is only a toy.Played fetch a bit after supper,I had to go water Phylis McRobbie's plants,she has a pain in her leg from a fall a year ago and it is way too warm for her to be out so did that and did ours when I got home.Our plants look good,saw flowers coming out form one rose of Sharon in the patio flowerbed,must be the watering I am giving them.Heidi has had her snacks tonight and water,been out twice,has slept beside the chair most of the time,,is doing that now.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidiwaitin74.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidirelaxer34.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidirelaxer35.jpgHeidi waiting to get out of bed this morning and tonight having a rest in her toy bed.She greeted mom after getting up,had a roll on the carpet,we had a play of fetch and she was up in the chair with me.We then went downstairs,she had a play of fetch and snoozed,it rained and thundered so we didn't go for a walk until the afternoon.She had lunch snack of Iams bones,it was after 1 we went for the walk,she saw two dogs,one might have been a Minaiture Pinscher,name was Lucy,don't think she liked Heidi,tried to snap at her,then on another street ,met another Shih Tzu, her name was Abigail,she liked Heidi,passed a couple of people,she sees anybody she wants to see them and go to them I tell her I don't know everybody and they may not like dogs.After coming,home she hadeher supper and a drink of water then we came down here where she played fetch and napped then I had mine.She had her snacks of Iams bones,snoozed behind my chair,in the toy bed,then she goes to mom after 9 and she is in the chair with mom,has snored a few times,quite a racket,quiet right now.

Hi, Heidi, cutie! I love when you are in the sunny spot on the red carpet. That's a perfect "you" spot! I'm thinking the weather has cooled off a bit since you are spending time outdoors. It's been much less humid here past couple of days but we're supposed to feel it again later in the week.
