Just wondering what stores carry the better quality dog foods? I know I am not going to find good foods at my local grocery store or Walmart. Not even sure at Pet Supermarket or Petco... where do you buy yours?
Thanks for any replies...

It all depends where you live. Most stores that carry good quality foods are not chains, so it all depends on what city you live in.
No, you wouldn't find the best quality foods at Petco or Petsmart.

Mine, in SLC, Utah, is called The Dog's Meow.

Pet Supplies has SOME good brands... but I find mine at my local home owned dog stores... which, depending on where you live can be in abundance or scarce. I also have a homeopathic vet that sells awesome foods.

Meant to add, that if I fed kibbles, I would get mine from The Furry Nation in Lakewood, OHIO

Petco is big into natural foods now and it does sell Solid Gold, Wellness, Halo, Merrick, Before Grain, Nature's Choice, Blue Buffalo, and that sort of thing and they do price matches. That's all I really know because I work there and I don't buy dog food myself. My mom feeds my dog Whole Foods brand food.

Select the food you want, go to their website. ALL of the high quality foods have a place on their menu to FIND DEALER, or LOCATE STORE.

I am lucky to have a major distribution center near me, AND they sell direct to the public. So I just go to the warehouse. They also ship, you can find them on line here:
www.doggiefood.com

Sign up for their newsletter, they make special offers in that.
If you are on Facebook, "LIKE" them on there as well. This past Monday, they had a free shipping offer for FB folks!

They ship for $4.95, can't beat that either.
