I'm officially in art class - Drawing/Painting :D My first ever one focused on 2D art! I am SO excited to finally be somewhere I can experiment with mediums other than pencil [I know for sure we paint, work with some sort of color, and also do some graphic design on the computers] and have someone there, guiding me. Up 'till now it's been trial and error and what looks 'okay.' I'm a little nervous to start doing actual art though [we've had 2 days so far due to snow days, lol] because I'm afraid I'll completely fail. I've never drawn where other people can see the drawing before it's done, and I've never had people in real life look at my art, for the most part. It's usually only my family, close friends, and online strangers haha.

But enough of that...I'm STOKED! Maybe after this art class I'll be really good, haha. My friend is already trying to convince me to take AP Studio Art with her next year, which I feel would be a horrible idea. But...you never know ;) We'll see how this class goes first.

Just because...my drawings in their self-taught glory :p

I never finished this one, haha. Probably because I'm horrible at drawing people

I'm working on this right now because I'm BAD at eyes...so feel free to critique anything on this you'd like to:

Good work, and congrats for getting into art classes.
I'll post some of my daughter April's art sometime.....and also some by my great uncle, who was a famous Aussie artist in the late 1800's to the 1900's.
He had an art school, and trained some very successful artists, some who have became quite famous.
