Great pics Kirsten! Starting from small things, you are really creative and able to catch the beauty from "nothing", and your pictures always say something. This is what I like. I really need to be more creative, and the 365project is fantastic to see the things differently! :)

On a cold winter's day
Light streaming through the window
Strikes the glass pitcher, and is captured
Old fruit glows with new warmth
And the pear, golden and resting on the table
Absorbs the sunshine in its golden flecked skin
Promising ripe sweetness, and
A mouthful of memories
Chin-dripping and softly mellow
Like winter light captured
In a glass pitcher and
Sun-warmed wood

Thank you everyone for your comments! :)

Karen, you did it again, what a wonderful poem! Your words are reflecting the atmosphere I was hoping to "transport" with my picture. And you described the pear perfectly, it was exactly like this! :) I love pears! lol

@BarbPond: I'm using a Canon EOS 450D, and my favorite lens is a Tamron 60mm macro lens... Used that one for most of the pictures I've posted here.

@Mary: Took that one ion Goettingen the other day where I had to apply for my disability pension.

@Anna: okay, here it is: :)

Sinuous lines in verdant green
A ripple captured
Veins angled for sunlight
Photosynthesis sizzles
Silently humming
With life

Another beautiful poem of yours, Karen! :) "Silently humming with life"... I like that, it's like a foretaste of the coming spring. :)
