Donna started writing for Patch.com for her city.
Anyone else checked this out? I found that my city just recently came on line, so now I make a point of checking it regularly.
Today, I learned our City Council passed 2 animal welfare measures, which I have not seen reported anywhere else!
1. Police can now break in to a car to help an animal in distress due to the heat, and fine the owner. First fine is $100, second time is $200, third time is $400 and loss of the pet.
2. Surgical removal of all or any part of vocal cords prohibited (mostly done to keep barking dogs quiet).
I never would have known any of this without PT and the sharing that happens here.
