Off to Nashville! I ended up with tickets for BOTH shows tomorrow night! I don't know how I am going to be able to sit still for a 8 1/2 hours drive today. I'm very excited, and so is Mike. (secret: he doesn't know I have tickets for the second show, so it'll be a surprise, and they're even better seats, I think!) ;)

Look out, Garth! From what I heard about his shows, it's going to be phenomenal.

I've seen Garth many years ago and it was AWESOME!!! He is very concerned with making sure every seat in the place gets his attention. So no matter where your seats are, you will have a blast! :D :D

I hope you have lots of fun and I have no doubt that Garth will be awesome. My sister, who is not a country music fan or really even a Garth Brooks fan went to one of his concerts on a date quite a few years ago and was really impressed. She said Garth put on one heck of a show and was awesome.

Enjoy!!

Amazing. I'm contemplating purchasing tickets to one of Wednesday's show. I can't go back tomorrow night because of helping with a baby shower. It was awesome. Trisha Yearwood and Steve Warner also performed.

ETA: I want to hear how his voice is tonight. He was able to sing fabulously, but his speaking voice was already really strained last night. I found it interesting to see a section for deaf people with an interpreter/signer there. That may be a common thing at concerts; I just haven't noticed it before. This one was right below my section.

Oh my gosh! I'm so glad I purchased tickets to see the second show last night along with the first one. So, so, so, so worth it! Got to hear "It's Your Song", "Burning Bridges", "Learning to Live Again", "To Make You Feel My Love" were the requests he did, along with "Two Pina Coladas", "Shameless", "Friends in Low Places", "The Dance", "Unanswered Prayers", "Ain't Going Down (til' the Sun Comes Up)", "We Shall Be Free", "Much Too Young (to Feel this Damn Old)", "Longneck Bottle", "In Another's Eyes", "More than a Memory", "Night Moves" (Bob Seger), "Piano Man" (Billy Joel), "American Pie" (Don McLean) and so many more. He just kept coming out for more.

The second concert, he performed from 9:30-midnight. He looked like he was ABOUT to pass out, though. He is definitely tired. He was very out of breath after singing "Ain't Going Down", and I'm not surprised! That's a hard song to sing and it's very fast paced and upbeat. Takes up a lot of your energy to sing that one.

I know tonight is his last concert, and I bet he is ready to be done and relax! He has raised FIVE MILLION dollars just for Nashville, from the 9 concerts he's arranged. What a amazing guy. Mike loved it, he was impressed. Now I can say, I've seen him 3 times, and I think I've got my fill until someday he returns back to the country music industry!
