Roger is one of the most gorgeous cats ever! He looks much like our Felix (Maine Coon, 4 1/2) -- colouring is different.

We're delighted to salute a lovely Canadian cat from the beautiful province of British Columbia, Canada as Cat of the Day, our Cat Royal for Tuesday, December 14th, 2010! Hope you're not up to your necks in snow as we in Montreal, Quebec, Canada are.

From our boys, Norman the King, Felix the Prince, Prince Baby-Rascal and Ebony, the stray kitty who has come almost three years now to dine twice daily, we send Roger lots of purrs, kittykisses, fancy figure 8's and endless love and admiration.

Norman will be 16 in May 2011; Baby-Rascal is two and we have no idea how old Ebony is but we figure about 5.

Live long & prosper, darling beautiful Roger. You are a treasure -- too purrecious for simple words -- and we are so thrilled for your purr~sons that you grace their lives.

Roger makes me think of my sister's cat Marty. Such a love bug. :love: If you start to pet and love him, don't stop. He'll reach out his paw and grab hold of you. He does get mats, though. Don't try to groom him to get rid of the mats, he worked too hard to get those mats! How did he get the name Marty? The SPCA had kittens outside a Wal-Mart store and my sister fell in love with him. She didn't like the name Wally, so decided on Marty. He had a brother and sister, but my sister couldn't afford to adopt all 3. We wonder how what the brother and sister turned out to be like. If it's a litter or cats that have been together for a long time, there should be a discount to adopt all of them, to encourage keeping them together.
