I'm engaged :D Yes, this old gal still has it in her. I got engaged while I was on vacation in Iowa the first of November. I'll be moving in about a year. Wedding will be in Las Vegas but we haven't decided when, yet. My man is the sweetest ever. He treats me so well and we have so much in common. He's considerably younger so I guess I'm a cougar ;) I'm finally going to have the life I thought I'd have about 20 years ago. Its really hard to be away from him. We were so happy that week. Was the best week of our lives. Can't wait to create more :love:

I have met the sweetest man. He's friends with a woman I met at a pet loss site. This happened quite by accident and was totally unexpected. I'd just figured I'd be alone the restof my life. He's considerably younger than me but I don't mind ;) We meet in real life for the first time in a couple of weeks. I can't wait! We've already been so happy, meeting will put us over the top. The distance between us will have to be changed and we're going to work on that.

My deepest apologies for not getting back here sooner. Thanks for all the congrats :) We are going to be so happy. I will be moving to Iowa. We're hoping to find a house near Iowa City. And I can't leave Dasher so he'll be coming with me. Doogie has adopted mom so he'll stay here and keep her company. Dasher hasn't met him yet but he'll be hopefully coming down here in late February. Seems like such a long time right now. And believe it or not but I only have one pic of us together and that was taken with my phone. I had forgotten about the settings when I asked his mom to take a pic of us so its not very good :( That's his dog in our laps. He wanted to give me an Irish Claddagh ring but my SIL is Irish and has one. We were looking and I saw this one and fell in love with it. Its hearts and in ruby which is my birthstone. Not a very good pic of it as my flash on camera has quit working. I bought him a ring, as well. I'm calling him my husband in training. Lol. He's going to make a great one. I can't wait until we can be together. I really miss him.

He sent me this pic of his car this morning. I just got an Android phone and put the Christmas thing on it. I love being able to attach pics from my cell! I can't wait to be up there in the snow and of course, with him.

If you are moving to Iowa, Iowa City is by far the best place in the state (but I'm biased a little, since I used to live there). But it's a nice little college town, especially in the summer...winter will take some getting used to from Florida!
