Dear Pinot, how are you doing after the sad loss of your favorite toy mousie? Did you find another best mousie yet? Could you please have your people give you some petting for me?

Your admirer,
Elyse

Dear Auntie Elyse,
Thank you for your concern. My best friend Mousie is still sadly missed. I have tried to fill some time taking care of Meowmie while searching the house for a new best friend; so far it hasn't worked. When Mom is allowed to drive again she has promised to go on a search for me in places I can't go to. I still have hope. Love to you and Cassie,

Purrs,
Pinot

PS-Hi Auntie Deb! Kisses to my almost sibling Bean! :)

Your twin Bean says he'd be happy to bring you a real mousie to play with...do you think your mom would mind?

Hi Pinot,
I felt so bad when I heard that your favorite best friend Mousie is no longer there to play with you and keep you company. To suddenly lose your very best friend is always sad. I hope that before too long another nice mousie will want to be your loyal friend.

How is your Meowmie feeling? With your expert kitty nurse care and TLC, I'm sure she's feeling better every day. Would you give your Meowmie some get well soon purrs, headbumpies, and kitty kisses from me?

Your friend,
Groucho

Dear Pinot,

How is your Meowmie, and how are you? I'm so glad you are taking care of her. Are you keeping busy with your back-up toys during your off hours?

Thinking of you,
Elyse

Hi Auntie Elyse and Cassie!

Thank you for checking on me; things are a bit stressful around here, but I am getting some good lap time with Meowmie and Dad home more than usual. Dad can't pick me up much, but Meowmie seems to be doing better. She went out today for a while and brought me some treats.

I got a new mousie. It's not the same as the old one, but I think we'll get along OK. Remember that stocking I told you about when I first came here? It's back, and it's bulging with something. I'll let you know how that goes.

Well, gotta go, a lap is calling and I heard there's something with cheese on the way. I'll talk to you later!

Love, Pinot
