My son has Dup15q. It is a genetic disorder that affects development and is the most common found in children with autisim. So far, Nicholas isn't showing any severe effects from this but it is still frustrating for him because he has trouble eating some foods and he has a real hard time with speaking.
My mom is working with some other people at www.dup15q.org (www.dup15q.org) to raise funds through the Pepsi Refresh Project in order to fund a conference so parents can learn more about this disorder and what is being done as far as treatment research.
