This species of bed hog are only dangerous if you try to move them over to get in bed. Just sleep around them and you'll be fine. lol :D

I can tell just from the look that this one not dangerous - that is if you leave him be. So don't attempt to move him! :D He is checking you out with one eye, though and seems to think there's no danger for him either. :)

What a cutie!

I think it is one of those things that drives the nightmares away. I never have nightmares when mine are on the bed with me, they are good at their job!

I know how to find that out!! Get closer, and if it licks your nose, it is a cat! If not, you'd better go and sleep on the couch :);):)

My fiancee and I are newly relo'ed to lovely Georgia, but this time of year, even here, it gets cool at night..... and we are stuck for a while with ONE TWIN bed in the house.... and on a cool night, that twin has to be (ahem!!) "SHARED" with 4-5 of these creatures, AND a 60-lb. 10-year-old golden retriever......

One word which comes to mind is "Crowded".........

Another term might be "INSOMNIA"....... or, rather, "Sleep Deprivation"......

In short- they are not dangerous unless you attempt to move them, and if left happily alone all but the dog will purr incessantly and loudly.......

You know, now I think about it I have a similar one. Mine hogs the bed even during sheet changes. But Astrid's Sophie is very adorable with her little white paw peeking out and Hoodini is so gosh-darn cute! My bed hog is giving me the "Mom, gotcha" look.

Hmm it seems as if these "Bed Hogs" are reaching epidemic levels! I am glad they are cuddly though...and quite warm!

Oh Hoodini you are a cutie bed bug. Mine is of the black variety and loves to sleep behind my knees  We thankfully have a Cal King bed to share but apparently we have to sleep in the same spot every night. Kisses to Hoodini!

So, DJFyrewolf- have you found that weird thing in your sheets any more? I've found one the past couple of nights - it seems to be weather-related ;) Mine is usually in the bend of my elbow or the back of my knees. Yours is so sweet! If you do find him there again, please give him a pet and a snuggle for me!

It's normal at our house. Some times you can't find the bed. What's worst are the hair balls in the sink.

Ahh...so those are hairballs in my sink! Seems like they are a similar species to the bed bugs...:D
