Back to normal time

This weekend we're changing from summertime back to normal. That means it will get dark an hour earlier. :( But tomorrow, we can sleep one more hour! :D

Have any of you ever gone to work one hour early? :rolleyes:

No, but my Dad loves to tell the story about how, long ago, he turn the clocks ahead in the fall and ended up being 2 hours early!:D :D :D :D

We just went to daylight saving and put our clocks forward an hour and LOST an hour's sleep!

I haven't been to work an hour early, but one Monday morning Shane got up so early (4.30am) I thought he was doing an early shift. But he got to work two hours before everybody else! That was OK, but he actually admitted his error and was laughed at for a week!

Ahhh...but you should live in Indiana...we never change out clocks. 1/2 the year we're the same time as Illinois and 1/2 the year we're on the same time as Ohio and Michigan. I've never figured out why it's necessary to change times.

Mugsy, I don't know how you folks in the 'inbetween' time do it. I would always be wondering what time it was whereever I needed to go!

Yes we got another hour in bed yesterday (Sunday) - but now we're faced with it getting dark earlier at night - oh well Winter Draws On!!! :D :D :D

Yes...it was nice having that extra hour...but being dark at 5:00 last night was really wierd. It felt like it was at least 8:00...

I left the clock an hour ahead and when the alarm went off, I set the clock back an hour, reset the alarm and went back to sleep for an hour. :D

Kia was confused to say the least. ;)

LOL! We didn't set our clocks until late sunday - that way we got the hour extra sunday night/monday morning. :D
