Sometime last weekend Mrs, Clarence Thomas (SCOTUS) left a voice
mail on the phone of Anita Hill asking for her to apologize for lying about
her husband.:rolleyes: She must be losing her mind to want to
drag all that up again.

When I first heard about this, I thought she might have had one too many. Then I found out it was done at 7:30 AM.

Why drudge this up after all these years? Bet the Judge was ticked off - he's such a private person.

Seems like this whole thing was never settled between Thomas & his wife,
maybe he didn't try to defend himself to her.Maybe she still has questions
unanswered after all these years. Who knows, it sure isn't Anita Hill's problem.

Maybe he had an affair and she found out and it made her thoughts about Anita warp up into something stange. Maybe she is drinking.
But after 19 years? She has some serious issues.

I think one can never forget something like that occurring in their life. That being said, calling Anita was probably not the thing to do.

Read a interesting article in the Washington Post re Clarence Thomas
and women in general, in an interview with his ex girlfriend of 6 years.

It's interesting to read about this stuff coming out of the woodwork years later. But at the time of the event, they fight tooth and nail to clear themselves, or prove who is right and who is wrong. Who really knows who is telling the truth ??? It seems that some have never practiced what they preached....integrity. But that's hardly surprising, the legal profession these days is about as professional as garbage collection.
