I can't believe it, my boy is gone...

Not an hour ago my Binky:love: died. He had been perfectly fine, no symptoms or illness. I was in here on the computer when my husband yelled for me. I ran out on the sunporch and Binky was lying there gasping for air. He gave an awful scream, drew a few breaths and then he was gone.:(.

We are in shock and trying to figure out what happened. My husband thinks that he had a heart attack, but who knows? It happened within two minutes so there was no possibility of rushing him to the vet.

I can't believe it, I don't want to believe it. He was my love. Binky, please wait for me at the Rainbow Bridge, I love you.

Oh, I'm so sorry! It does indeed sound as though he had a heart attack. My dog RB Charmin made that same sound and then she was gone. It's so difficult when it's unexpected. Please know that Binky's pain, if any, was momentary. He's free now. RIP, sweet Binky and peace to your humans. :love:

Oh No , that is such a shocking and sad story.
It is so sad when ome of Our Cats who we assume is in good health and fine suddenly passes on so suddenly.
MY BJ [Benjamin James] My Gray Meezer passed on quicly like that , he meeowed loudly and then collapsed and was an Angel in less than a minute.

I am so sorry to hear about Binky. He was a beautiful soul.

When you said he went fast, it reminded me of MooShoo. We went to bed as usual. Then 2 a.m. he was on the floor yowling. By the time I got him to the vet, he was gone.:(:( Vet diagnosed it as an aneurysm in his legs. It happened way too fast for him to suffer much. While I take comfort in knowing he didn't suffer much, it still doesn't heal my broken heart.

Thank everyone of you for your kind and loving comments. They do a lot to ease the hurt in my heart. Binky was my special boy; he was skittish at times, but when he wanted attention he would meow at me and take a few steps. That meant he either wanted to go to the porch or the bedroom so off he went, trotting just as fast as he could. Then he would flop down on the floor and I would give him lovins, rub him under the chin and sing a little song that only we two knew.

I am so thankful that I did just that yesterday morning. We buried him wrapped in a soft blanket with his favorite Troll dolls to keep him company along with a fuzzy mouse he loved.

I love you Binky, you are my :love: cat.
