I don't know about you guys...but I love to carve pumpkins. Every year I go for a search to find a great stencil to use on my pumpkin.
So I thought it would be neat to post pics of everybodies pumpkins they carved. They don't have to be anything special/hard. This is just for fun!!!

Here's my wolf pumpkin from last year. I havn't found a stencil for this year yet.

I love your pumpkin!!! My pumpkin just says Chewy and a paw print. Its really cute :D and so is my chew baby.

This ione s from a couple years ago, we don't get Trick or Treaters anymore because our dog's new fence blocks the way to get into our yard. But I used to carve a bunch every year, even though we never had many kids come trick or treating.

Ooo those are awesome! Wolf! Yay! lol. Cute kitty too! I used to always spend all this time creating patterns and carving mine. I haven't really bothered in the past few years. I think you have "inspired" me to try it again this year..............I'll get working on my pattern. :D

WOW ownerof3dogs & boscibo!! Those are incredible!! I personally have never carved a pumpkin, and wouldn't have a clue how to start. Those are gorgeous!!

My mom and sister did one this year that had ghosts and said boo, but that was a few weeks ago and now it is half-filled with wax and infested with ants, not a good picture.

Ooooh.. a wolf! I've seen a site.. where you can get all the stencils.. I've seen a Garth one.. the FRIENDS cast.. etc.. Hmm.. I'm gonna look for it! :) I'm inspired now..

Cookiebaker: you can buy carving kits by Pumpkin Masters for around $7.00 thats how I started. They explain how to do it and they give you cool stencils to use and pumpkin carving knives. You should try one this year.

Great pumpkins everyone! I didn't get around to carving a pumpkin this year.

We got some not so nice kids living in the complex and I'm sure it would of become pavement fodder anyway. :(

Next year I'll carve a pumpkin for my parents house. :)

Cool pumpkins! We carved ours on Saturday with some friends...I HAD to use the kitty stencil and it turned out really neat...I'll take a picture tonight.

We had everything from a spider to Cartman ("South Park" show) to cute little ghosts. It was fun! :)

I finally got around to carving my pumpkin, LOL. I decided since Halloween was tomorrow, I should probably do it.......so I hurried and did it in like 20 minutes before work this morning. I could NOT get a good pic of it......with the flash on it was too bright, and without the flash it's blurry.....oh well, here's a pic, but it's more detailed irl.

Nebo tried to help my out by grabbing chunks of pumpkin from the garbage and trying to eat them, lol. :rolleyes: Oh, and the pic I used to make the pattern was of him much younger then today.

I just carved mine last night. They are nothing fancy, I didn't use any cool carving kits or anything, so they are not as professional and perfect as those other pumpkins, but they were fun and I think they are cute :)

You guys are amazing!! What fabulous carvings! Such talent. I'll be lucky if I don't slice a finger off! I'm just about to do mine now...BUT, I do have one to contribute for now. This was a big "scream" on Pet Talk almost 2 years ago. The following pic got a big howl out of everyone. Can't remember who posted it! Will the warped one please step forward!!;) Leslie, do you remember?? Actually, someone on PT emailed me several months ago asking if I had this picture. Can't remember who it was!! That is an excellent photo! I wasn't the person who asked for it but my son and I may just want to try that with one of our pumpkins tonight! I just printed it out so I will have the photo to put on our front door at least.:p

WOlf Q your pumpkin of Nebo is so cool. Now you have a really cool talent...You can make your own. I am so jealous. That could be another cool thing you could do. People could send in pic of their pets and you could make pumpkin stencils. Just a thought.

AdoreMyDogs, your pumpkins are hilarious. I can't beleive your pumpkin was attacked and stabbed by a carving knife! He was such a happy pumpkin LOL And I can't beleive his friend just sat back and laughed! What is this world coming to. LOL

I am so impressed with all the pumpkins. Wolf_Q, that one of Nebo is so awesome...it looks just like ummm...Nebo! I printed it out to show my hubby and he loved it also. :D

I guess my memory is not all that great, because I don't remember that picture at all :eek: . I guess I am getting old because my memory is not what it used to be :eek: . It sure is a funny and gross pumpkin, though!

last year my son & I drove back from the beach with a huge pumpkin and his dog in the back seat. Next thing you know I look around and Punk (the dog) is eating the pumpkin. Punk must have decided to start "carving" his own picture. I had no idea dogs like pumpkins:eek: HEY, speaking of bad memories..who was it that posted that picture and recipe of a "kitty litter box" cake:confused: it was really gross & disgusting and I loved it:o

Now I remember!! It was the litter box cake that did it. It was Angel! Didn't they make that "cake" for her at work?? That was hysterical!:D I think it was she that also posted the "puking pumpkin!"

Thanks for the comment. No saddly I didn't free hand the tiger, I got a stencil off the internet. I sort of cheated I guess. I took me over two hours to carve it, and about another two to transfer the pic to the pumpkin.

about dogs eating pumpkins. The whole time I was carving, Hercules was trying to steal peices of it LOL
