I've been kinda MIA lately...sorry about that! School started and September is a crazy month for the newspaper because we have about 2 weeks to teach people how to write/take pictures/design pages, write our stories, edit everything, get 3-4 days of layout in, and send the paper to be printed all while keeping the quality up to where we can win a top rating again this year at MIPA.

Anyways...I left my sketchbook at the barn a month or two ago. The BO found it and was so impressed he mentioned me drawing a school horse to have framed + people paying for drawings? :D I was quite flattered! I drew Leo, my enemy, and brought it there and everyone liked it AND some girl asked me to draw her horse  so I'm waiting for her to send me a picture.

Also, can you guys critique these drawings for me? They're all semi-recent, and I'm open to edits on all of them.

Sorry for the quality

I decided that I wanted to learn how to draw a horse on photoshop. Therefore, I got some amazing lineart from deviantART [credit (http://flaming-sunset.deviantart.com/art/FREE-Horse-Line-Art-116626702?q=boost:popular+stock+horse+line+art&qo=1)] and then found a tutorial aaannd...

You are improving, that's for sure! The ears, though, still seem to be your nemesis. In the electronic one, they look too small, and in Leo's picture, they are two different sizes, the left looks much smaller than the right, it gets too narrow at the base, I think.

Nice..
The running horse, the inside front leg is bigger then the outside.
When I draw horses in school.I always measured the legs with my pencil to make sure both were the same.
It takes a while.
The hardest thing for me to learn was eyes.I spent hours just doing eyes..

I didn't draw the lineart for the electronic one so I can say that the ears are not my fault there, haha.

Yeah, I see what you mean about Leo. Everything from his eyes up are just...wonky.

I was so focused on all the little details on the leg I forgot to keep an eye on the proportions, hahaha.

Thank you all! I got into Drawing & Painting for second semester, so I'm stoked! It'll be my first class that actually focuses on 2D art :D

well, you're in luck!

I drew this in my chemistry class a few days ago. I have another one on my math homework that I need to take a picture of.
