We're not REALLY looking at get a second dog right now, but I torture myself by cruising petfinder anyways. This girl keeps popping up and I WANT HER. She'd be a perfect fit too. Smallish, crate trained, good with cats and dogs, nice manners. Oh, and stinking ADORABLE!

Reading her bio, there doesn't seem to be ONE negative! And the pic with the bow, oh my!

So, when do you bring her home? LOL

Unfortunately, my priority right now REALLY needs to be getting Grendel a new cage. that's going to run be about $1200, so adding a second dog will have to wait until the hubby finds a job. Sigh. I'm torn between wishing Sierra a fast adoption and hoping she's still there in a few months!

I had a Humane Society crush a few months back. He was a purebred 3 yr old Husky. His dad was deployed in the army indefinitely so he had to give him up. I fell in love with him and tried so hard to convince hubby to no avail. A few weeks later though, I was at the dog park with Kody and in walks "bailey" with a new family. Come to find out, he was adopted just after I left thae shelter that day by a volunteer there who had her eye on him. She was able to convince her hubby and brought him home that day. I was so glad to know that he had found a good home and didn't have to stay in the shelter long. It worked out too because the family is local, so kody and "miles" (they renamed him) get to play together at the dog park every once in a while. :-)

This, however, is why I could never volunteer at the humane society. I'd get attached to way too many pets and we'd be overran by animals in no time! Think I'll just volunteer to events to help raise money instead ;-)

Check on Craigs list and Ebay, a lot of times you can find nice used cages on there and bypass the arm-and-a-leg pricing.

What a cutie she is. I love the shot of her with the bow in her hair. I love terriers. Years ago I had a mutt - terrier mix - kinda looked Bengi. She was such a sweetheart!

Maybe you can figure a way to make her yours..........;)
