Alicia and I are back from Gettysburg and the Horror Film Convention.
Her movie was played to a full house and they added another show on later since more people wanted to see the movie.
It was incredible seeing my little girl on the big screen in a movie. She had a small part but still it was awesome.
We had such a good time. Here are some pictures.

Alicia met one of her favorite actors Jake Busey. Gary was there as well, walking around in PJ bottoms.

I was there to see my daughter get asked for her first offical autograph.
This man was number 5 or 6. She was so surprised at first. Mom was trying to keep tears and smiles in check.

Jennie Wade was the only civilian killed in the civil war. She was in the kitchen cooking and was shot. She was 20. Her is the door were the bullet went through. Her boyfriend was killed three days later never knowing what happened to her.

Thanks everyone,
We had the best time. Everyone was very nice, supportive and helpful to one another. A truly kind group of people.
The convention was very upbeat and fun, lots of laughs and sillyness.
The people of PA are so friendly. Where ever we went to eat the waitresses was super sweet, helpful, cheerful.
I could not have asked for a better time.
We capped it off with Taste of Cleveland today. Alicia, Lance and I went and I so enjoyed the Led Zepplin Tribute band. The one Doc I work for is also a fan, he was there with his girl. We were rocking to Stairway to Heaven.

I would say it is for 14 and above, some topless scenes.
It is a very funny silly movie. I was laughing out loud many times.
In fact the star and director were sitting behind me in the theater and later commented on me laughing and how much I enjoyed the silly.

The star Christina Rose was great, great, great as the nerdy Wanda.
First rate performance, this girl will go far. I see her as being another Reese Witherspoon. Incredible talent.

As for my daugher, she played a mean, nasty girl and she did it brilliantly.
I was so proud of my daughter the actress. Hollywood has always been her dream, she is on her way.

She wanted to be an actress since she was a wee bit. She went and got this part on her own and it took a lot of guts.
I hope it leads to more acting jobs for this is what she wants.
I was there when that first guy asked for her autograph, that was one of the most special moments of my life. I stood on the side, was very quite and the tears started to well up. It was her moment and she handled it well.
I always told my kids to follow their dreams big and small ones. I am glad she is doing want she loves.
