What a great forever family you have chosen to be yours, and oh yes, "lucky" you are (though I don't know who's luckier...you or your family!;))! I think something told you, from the very beginning, that this was a family you could come to love, a family who would love you back, unconditionally! And after just a bit of coaxing, a little time, and a lot of patience, you finally were able to put down your guard and learn to trust again, and wow, what a transformation; from shy and reluctant "visitor" to a full fledged member of the pack; in fact, taking charge of all, including the dogs!:D What a great story!:love:
