Has anyone heard of using listerine to get rid of fleas? Does it work?

:) You know of I dont know.. Hey you know I will bet it will.. You know you can use Dawn Dish Soap on Kittens for fleas too..

My thoughts are that if Listerine actually worked against fleas, don't you think they'd have packaged it, marketed it and made a profit off of it?

Your money is better spent on Frontline Plus or Advantage which really do work.

I never heard of it, but there are lots of products in the home that are made for one thing, and effective for others as well. I learned one this summer - Crest toothpaste for wasp stings. It worked, where other products such as Benadryl, proved to be useless to me.

I guess all you can do is put it to the test. If you do, let us know if it works. :)

I'd be careful as Listerine has alcohol in it. Blue Dawn (only blue) has the same Ph as a cat. That's what I use to give Butchie a bath. I'd tend to lean towards the Dawn. Much safer.
