We have finally picked three names for our new Aussie pup :)

Blu
Jack
Mocha

My dad says he doesn't like Mocha but we all like it so I thought I would throw it in here anyways :)

I had to pick Jack. It's very close to my kittens name, Jax. But I couldn't pick Blu because it's such a common name for merle Aussie's. I mean, you do have it spelled different, which is cool. And I didn't choose Mocha since you said your dad wasn't crazy about it (because I'm not very much either).

I just love this puppy! I am so glad I get to watch him grow up here on PT. He is just sooo adorable!! I still go back to your original thread and just look at him. Now I have two threads to stare at. :D

My dad, Jack, was awesome, so naturally, I chose "Jack" too!

I chose Blu. In some of his pictures he reminds me of a Teddy Bear so I'd call him Blu Bear.;) My cat Storm is considered to be a blue cat so one of his nicknames is "Big Blue".

Thanks everyone for the votes!! We actually ended up naming him the least popular, Mocha! hehe. My dad decided he liked it enough and will call him "Moe". We're trying to get him used to Mocha first however. He has gotten used to Patches... but he should catch on quickly! He's proving to be quite the smart little thing. I leave for Utah tomorrow... I will miss him :( But my dad promised to send me plenty of pictures, so of course I'll share them with you! :)

I know I´m way late.. but still wanted to add something.. I too liked blu.. but as said pretty common for "blue" dogs.. and Mocha didn´t seem to fit IMO.. so I thought of MORGAN.... you can still call him Mo ;)..

Mocha's name has once again been changed. hehe He is officially Patches. My dad could not get used to Mocha and everyone got so used to Patches during his first week home... and that's what he answers to anyway! It isn't a bad name either.. so we just decided to keep it! I am hoping my dad sends some pictures soon for me.

Anyways he is now OFFICIALLY Patches!! :)
