We have a library in our break area at work.
One of the custodians goes to the local library booksale occasionally and buys books to stock the quiet room.
I was out of reading material, and going through the latest additions found a copy of "A Canticle for Leibowitz".
I liked the book enough to buy it years ago for my own collection, so I grabbed it off the shelf to read.
Someone had used a newspaper clipping as a bookmark.
The headline?
"Wine Company sued in rape"
Edwardsville, Ill-
A woman whose husband downed a bottle of cheap wine and then raped a neighbor is suing the wine company for more than $10 million, alleging the wine caused the attack.
And people think frivolous lawsuits are a new endeavor?:p
