Wow, what a change! She looks much better - still has that cute Persian 'grumpy face'! :D

Well, she growls like a bear if you pick her up.

She is not much of a purrer.

But boy can she MEOWRRRRRR. Quite demanding, really.

She absolutely LOVES LOVES LOVES having her face rubbed, and she'l push real hard too, on your hand or ANYTHING, edges of boxes, the couch.....


Believe it or not, she gets short spurts of the "kitten crazies". They last only a moment and then she passes out somewhere in THE most uncomfortable looking positions you've ever seen.

She chases and swats at ANY cat who dares pass through her space. And the other cats know it and walk WAY around her at a safe distance. but this usually only happens directly before feeding time. so twice a day.

She's a begger for junk food, like pizza or a hoagie.

And even though she takes her pill real cooperatively, (she simply stands on the floor, I bend down, and pop it in) but you must get your fingers out FAST! I've been bitten down on several times already.

And I love her, she makes me smile.

Jen, I am amazed at what she looks like now. She is so lovely that I want to reach into the monitor and hug her.... wait! I'll get the brush and brush her! You have done wonders with her and I bet she knows she has it made now, knows she is loved and will be taken care of like a lady of her breeding should be. What a lucky day it was for her when she was brought to you!! Give her a kiss on top of her head between her ears and a gently petting for me.

Jen, she is absolutely gorgeous! It's amazing what some love will do. Taboo sounds like she has settled in and pretty much taken over but being a kitty that's her job. Could I ask you to shower Taboo with lots of lovies for me?

I love the "grumpy face" cats. My brother has a beautiful silver shaded Persian. She is very elusive, and the only way I've ever gotten to pet her, was if he was holding her. The first visit to his place when I saw her - she would run and hide. When I visited last year, she would come out and be seen, but wouldn't let me get too close, and would only run if I got within touching distance. I did manage to get some pics of her tho!!! ;)

She looks soooooo much better, Jen! I also love your description of her. Her looks remind me of Peanut and her actions remind me of Robin, especially the part where she loves to have her face rubbed and she swats at any cat that walks by. CJ is well versed in "going wide" to avoid Robin. :D

Amazing what a little love can do for an animal, and you do it so well. :)
