I remember spending the weekend at my aunt and uncle's house. Every Saturday night Mitch Miller was on. "Sing Along with Mitch" is what I remember it was called. Great big band music and singers. He was a great band leader and will be sorely missed.

Boy does he bring back alot of wonderful memories.

RIP Music Man!!

Before I saw this line I said to myself (outloud actually) "who the h3!! is Mitch Miller?" So I guess we'll just leave it at - I don't know.

But RIP anyway Mitch Miller

ETA: After looking at pictures of him, I do remember who he is. I just didn't know his name.

Wow, 99 years old! It's been so long since I'd heard or read anything about him that I thought he had died long ago. RIP, Mr. Miller.

I remember Sing Along With Mitch. They even had the words to the songs on the screen so you could sing along. My favorite was the Good Ol Summer Time. Rest In Peace Mitch

Does anyone remember when he had Leslie Uggams on his program? That girl could (and still can!) sing!
