I'm going away on a road trip and I want to make sure that I keep an eye on the fuel economy for the van I rented. I cannot for the life of me figure out how many KM's I can expect out of a tank of gas. Can anyone help me with this?

the size of the tank is 76L
the specs on the website says it will get 3.3L V6:12.6L/100 km (22 mpg) city, 8.4L/100 km (34 mpg) highway*.

How do I figure out how many KMs will be in one tank of gas? (I know it will be approximate, but I just need to keep an eye on how much the trip is going to cost me).

I'm almost in tears trying to figure this out.. math is NOT my strong point!

Thank you in advance for any help you can provide!

12.6L per 100 KM

76/12.6=5.95 and change.

595 km per tank city.

76/8.4=9.04

roughly 900 km/tank highway.

so figure about 750 KM on a tank in mixed driving.
