I went riding on Friday. It was quite miserable, as it was 80+ degrees and sunny with NO breeze.

Anyways...I had an awesome lesson on Brooke [we jumped 2'6" again yay!] and then, as I was walking her out to give her a bath, my trainer asked if I wanted to get on Chopper ^-^ YAAAAAY! I felt so special, hehe. Chopper is big, beautiful, and talented like no other. He is, without a doubt, the most valuable horse I've ever ridden. I was a little afraid to break him, heheh :D I had some serious issues trotting him because he's so much loftier than Brooke, but once we started cantering...oh my, I think I'm in love. He has the SMOOTHEST gait ever. It really felt like we were just floating hahahaha.

Pictures :)

That brings back so many good memories of my youth. Enjoy, enjoy. You too will look back at this time as a happy one many years from now.
You look great by the way up there.

thank you both :) Last Friday I actually jumped a 3-foot course with Brooke! That's the highest course I've ever done. Ever.

Here we were after the lesson

and the jumps [the big ones...not the little ones, those are like 2foot.]

Good job, both of you!:D

thank you :) I'm so grateful to be able to ride a horse like Brooke. She knows exactly when she can push me, and when she should save my butt and jump.

Here's another picture from the 3' lesson that I found. Miss piggy was more interested in grass than having her picture taken, hehe.
