Chip and Chuck asked if they could have a tread of their own since Angel and Winnie had one for their first year inside. Of course I caved in.

They are such energetic little stinkers. Once in a while, they need a time out (to give us all time to catch our breath). Don't worry, their time outs are never longer than 15 minutes, if that. Just long enough for them to refocus their attention. ;)

They don't quite grasp the concept of 'time out' yet!

Notice who their guard is!!!

Chester wanted a time out himself for some peace and quiet!

Chuck decided to join Chester! :D

Can Angel please have a little chat with Paizly? She is not as accepting of her little brother still.

That is adorable! I know Paizly will stop playing with Jax if she notices us watching her. Does Angel do that too? LOL :D

Awwww!!! Angel is being such a good big sister.:) How is Winnie doing with the kittens?

Winnie does pretty good. She will still give them a head bonk when she thinks they need it. Grandma is the hissing machine now so I tend to keep her in the bedroom away from them so she can have some peace and quiet. She gets free roam when they are shut in the kitchen. We are all settling in. :D

Think about it - if you hadn't rescued Angel and Winnie last year, Chip and Chuck could have been born to one of them.

After seeing the fun Chip and Chucks TX siblings had with their tunnel, I hunted out the one my brother had sent my kids years ago. Here are some pics. That's Chester in the pic with Angel looking in. There will be two extra pics in the next thread.

I hadn't even noticed that paper! It was something they perloined out of the trash. :D

That cord that Chip was munching on is the tv cable cord to my Internet connection. I checked it and it has lots more teeth marks on it than he could possibly have put on it in that short of time I took the picture. I'm thinking Winnie may be munching on it at night. Guess tonight she will go in lock down in the kitchen with the babies.

I sort of hate to try hot sauce on the cords. I don't want to hurt their mouths or make them sick. :(

Chip and Winnie, listen up: DON'T chew on that cord! It is bad for you! Meowmie gives you toys and food you can safely chew on. But no cords, please.

How cute of Angel to give her little bro-fur a wash up! KISS KISS KISS KISS KISS KISS! (that's six kisses for six kitties ... two toddlers, two preschoolers, a big brother and sister)

:) No No Dont you dare put that on stuff on anything the cats could get too.. It would hurt their wittle mouths.. When I said they told me to do to my chewing prob of BIGG OutSide Dogs.. And that has been years ago..

Don't worry! I won't! My brother had told me to do that last year when Winnie started in with the chewing. I just couldn't risk hurting her (or them now). The best solution will be keeping them in the kitchen when I can't be watching them every second. No cords within reach there. :D

I don't know how far away your brother is - but if you could get some long clear tubing (the length of the cords that need protecting) with a single slice down the length of it, they could be fitted over the cords. Hardware stores may have it...but it would be nice to have your brother fit it on. Though if your fingers are fairly flexible, it's easy to do.:)

VERY cute pics....how bad dey are!:D:love::love:

ETA: Do you even remember the days before Winnie and Angel came along?

I was going to suggest that too.:) I think the tubing comes in heavy duty
hard rubber/plastic and metal coverings. Let them chomp on that once and
they woudn't like it. :)

I really loved seeing the pictures of all (but Grandma) interacting with the
tunnel.:D That's a real ice breaker & gets them all involved.LOL:D

I do have that tubing on some of the cords. It was pretty expensive so I only covered some of the cords. I'm thinking about splitting a paper towel tube and taping it on that cord until I can get back to Walmart Friday and get more of the plastic stuff. It might not stop them but it would slow them down giving me a chance to shoo them off.

Yea, I do remember life before Winnie and Angel. It was a very sad time. I was so depressed because of losing Leonardo. Those two sure helped me and made me laugh again. :) Not to mention turned the house upside down. :D

from ultimatecatsecrets.com (I added the italics)...

"Block access to visible cords by wrapping flexible safety cable (available at hardware stores) around them. Tin foil works well too, or even a thicker model or extension cord (that is too big for a cat to chew on)

"Apply unpleasant-tasting substances to exposed cords. These could include bitter apple spray, menthol, toothpaste, mouthwash or lemon juice.

"My favorite solution is rubbing the cords with a bar of soap."

Cassie hates aluminum foil. I wonder why toothpaste tastes unpleasant to a cat? She sure does love the cap from a toothpaste tube as a toy!

Supposedly cats hate grapefruit - you could try rubbing grapefruit peel on the cords.

Cuddles and chin rubs to Chip and Chuck - when they're being good!

Love, Columbine

This morning I put an empty paper towel roll around that cord and taped it on. So far so good.

Thanks for all the tips. I'm thinking maybe brushing liquid dish soap on the cords might work too. I use Dawn so it shouldn't hurt them if they get a taste. ;)

They both seem to love watching tv and movies. We are on our third viewing of Independence Day this weekend right now. ;)

All snuggles, hugs and kisses have been delivered. They all send thanks and luvies and head bumpies to you too.

Sending good thoughts to you and the "boys". Male kitties come through this like nothing happened. I picked Ming up the afternoon of his snip and he came home and promptly ran up the cat tree and got in a fight with Mac! Your vet must be very conservative and careful. Nothing wrong with that. Where I live, they always come home the same day. I wish all of you the best!

It was sure hard for me to leave my two frightened babies at the vets this morning. :( They will get to share a cage though until after their surgeries tomorrow. The vet will call me and let me know when they wake up from the surgeries. They can come home at 9 on Wednesday. :)

How will I ever watch tv without them? They like to sit on my lap and protect me from tv monsters. :D

It's really really hot and humid here and will be all week. We all just hang out inside with the ac on.

Meowmie, have you heard how they did today? Fingers and paws crossed for Chuck and Chip!

Beautiful, yes but lady, I'm not so sure about. She not only is hissing at the babies but smacks them now. She even smacks Angel since the babies came back from the vet. I think she was hoping they were gone for good and is mad because they are back. :D

I think Winnie is just cranky because I brought them back. She has been smacking everyone, even Chester. Ok, she does that sometimes anyway but not like she has today. She is currently sulking in her bucket.

The babies finally got pooped out and are taking a nap. They ate like sailors on shore leave today. I keep telling the vet my cats don't like the food they serve there but she insisits on giving them that prescription diet stuff. :p :D

Meowmie, how is everyone getting along today? Hi, Chuck, Chip and Chester! Hi, Grandma, Angel and Winnie! (wavies and blowing you a kiss)

The kids are almost back to normal. Chip though, still doesn't want to let me out of his sight. He's under my desk by my foot right now. Chuck is snuggled up with, (are you sitting down?) Chester in their carrier in the kitchen. Chester went in to get some peace from cranky Winnie. Chuck invited himself in and Chester let him stay. I think Chester has pitty on them. hehe

Winnie still smacks and hisses at everyone but not as much today. She just sits in her bucket and glowers at everyone. Angel has made up with the babies and was seen playing with them this morning.

Both the babies still what lots of cuddles and crawl on my lap often. Not complaining about that at all!!! :D

Grandma just wants to stay in the bedroom with the door shut.

I found out how Chuck has been getting up into Winnie's bucket. He runs really fast, the jumps up and catches the edge of the cook stove with his front paws and pulls himself up. He misjudged this morning and grabbed the grate where the pans sit. It moved and scared him so he fell down. He's ok but maybe that will frighten him enough he will wait until he is bigger to try that trick. (or maybe not)

This morning I put an empty paper towel roll around that cord and taped it on. So far so good.

Thanks for all the tips. I'm thinking maybe brushing liquid dish soap on the cords might work too. I use Dawn so it shouldn't hurt them if they get a taste. ;)

Sorry I missed this thread.

Willow and Willy were chewers and could not resist the telephone and computer cables. We bought a product called Critter Cord. http://www.amazon.com/D-W-Innovations-crit-Crittercord/dp/B000EH2I5O

It did the trick!

Product Description
CRITTERCORDTM brand cord covers are specifically designed to help protect your pets from the dangers of chewing on electrical cords. A protective tubing infused with a citrus scent, CRITTERCORDTM brand cord covers help deter household pets from approaching the protected cords, and the heavy gauge helps protect against harmful chewing damage. The citrus scent is infused into the product... unlike traditional topical agents, it won't wipe or rub away. And because CRITTERCORDTM brand cord covers are virtually invisible, they won't disrupt your home decor. CRITTERCORDTM comes conveniently packaged in individual ten (10) foot sections

The kids have been little monsters this morning. I was in here (the front room) when I heard several crashes and the sound of shattering glass.

They knocked my two plates and one bowl off the kitchen counter. The dishes were made of correlle ware but the bowl just shattered. They even broke a chunk out of a plastic saucer. If that wasn't bad enough, the boys were playing with the broken glass pieces. I had to shut them in their carrier while I cleaned it up. Even then, I missed a few pieces.

The boys found those. I looked down and there was Chuck trying to eat a piece of glass and Chip was batting a piece around on the floor. I swept the floor again and am hoping I finally got all of them. I've never seen a bowl shatter like that. There were no big pieces of it left at all. Luckily the plates didn't break. I was keeping them on the counter because I have to keep the cupboard doors tied shut. They can open the doors and throw the dishes out of them.

He has been acting a bit odd this week. Eating, drinking and potting well, but not much interest in playing. At first I thought it was just because it's been so awfully hot here. But this afternoon, I decided to take him in for a check up.

Poor baby's temp was 105.5. They tested him for FIV/FIP. Both tests came back negitive. Good news there.

They finally diagnosed him as having a fever of unknown origin and put him on antibiotics.

He is laying under the ceiling fan glowering at me right now.

Yes, that was Chip. That was one of the reasons the vet wanted to test him for FIP/FIV. I was so relieved that he is negitive for those.

I'm wondering if he maybe didn't get completly over the infection the first time, then we had him neutered which stressed his system again.

He has had no symptoms like runny eyes or sneezing or anything. He eats well and drinks a bit of water and all plumbing is working well. He just acted lethargic. With the heat we've been having, I just thought it was something like that for a while.

He seemed to feel a bit better this morning. He enjoyed some treats in honor of Angel's first birthday. He is napping behind my recliner right now. Chuck keeps wanting to wrestle with him. Chuck is in the kitchen right now.

Thank you for the prayers and well wishes for my boy.:love::love:

Our weekend was sort of itchy. Seems our flea control med has not worked. Mommy has some Advantage on the way because our vet was out. Frontline was just not working for us. It should come tomorrow or Wednesday.

Meanwhile, poor Grandma has fleas the worst so Mommy gave her a bath the other night. It was the very first bath Grandma has ever had. At first she was scared but then sat there in the water like a queen in a bubble bath. Mommy used Dawn dish soap. It really kills fleas.

Yesterday mommy was vacuuming the bedroom. Grandma was on the bed and mommy was vacuuming the covers a bit. Since Grandma wasn't frightened, mommy tried vacuuming her too. Grandma loves it!!!
Mommy says every flea she can suck off is a good thing. :D

Awwww, Grandma! I am so sorry to hear that you have fleas. But I'm glad you enjoyed your b-a-t-h and the vacuum! I hope those pesky little critters are all gone very soon.

The flea situation is now under control. The Advantage came yesterday afternoon. I treated Grandma first then the rest of the gang. The fleas started dying almost as soon as it was put on them.

When I went in to check on Grandma a few hours after I had treated her, the bed sheet was covered in dead and dying fleas. I vacuumed them up and her too. At bedtime though, she gave me a bit of a fright. She seemed a bit disorented and did not want to lay down.

I thought it may be a reaction to the flea stuff so just kept an eye on her. She is fine today. Eating, drinking and laying on my bed like the queen of the house she is. No more scratching by her or any of the gang.

I'm glad I only used half a dose on them though.

The babies have been running through the house like loons all morning. They seem to be super charged!!! HELP ME!!!! :D

They are all just fine. I was a bit concerned about Chip. He was having loose bowl movements for a while but since he is now off his antibiotic that has straightened up. He is his ornery self. He earned a time out last night when he knocked over my floor lamp.

MOFF, is there any update about that other momcat who had some siamese-looking babies?

I was wondering if the great people who helped transport the babies to Lvpets maybe were able to help out with her and the babies.

As to Chip and Chuck - just when you thought the flying zoomies were over....LOL. :)

The babies all disappeared one by one. They were all old enough to fend for them selves however. I'm hoping they followed some of the neighbor children off and found homes. I saw no signs of dogs around the times they disappeared.

The mommy cat still comes by from time to time for a meal. She is letting me closer to her but won't let me near enough to touch her.

I emailed the lady who helped get the babies to TX. She replied to my note that the babies got to TX safely but has not replied to any other emails I've sent. I feel she has gone way beyond helping me any way by doing what she did for Lilacs babies.

Thankfully, Winnie seems to be the only cord chewer I have.

The "little scamps" are in a right snit with me right now. I ended their beach party fun!!!

I went to Walmart this morning and got a nice big bin to keep the bags of litter in. To compound my crime, it is bright PINK!!!
In spite of their best efforts it's remaining locked and the bags are safe.

Once again, Chip and Chuck are in lock down in the kitchen. I guess it's really not thier fault. They were chasing each other from one end of the house to the other this morning. I was trying to get into the kitchen when they hit me from behind. Lucky for us all I was able to grab the kitchen door jamb and not fall.

The chase continued. I picked them off the curtains and blinds 4 times. Then they zoomed under my desk and disconnected my computer modem - twice!!!

That was the last straw. So in lock down they are. I am tempted to leave them there until they are a year old. I do realize they aren't completely at fault. We have a major change in the weather coming this afternoon, it's really really windy outside, plus there is a full moon. It's not their fault that nature makes them do these nawtee things, is it?:love:

They are fine but a bit miffed a me right now. The main water line to my house is broken so they are spending the afternoon in their carriers here in the front room. Don't want them freaking out or frighened by all the noise or running out the door when it's open.

It's just a matter of days it looks like. I'm down to 10% free space. I have moved and deleted hundres of pics and get some free space for about a day then it drops lower. Only thing I can think of is every time I delete something, it updates the recovery thing and stores them somewhere else on my hard drive.

CCleaner is good. After you run it, look up and down the list of results so you don't delete anything you might want to keep (speaking from experience:eek:). You can select the ones CCleaner identifies as candidates for deletion that you don't want removed.

The panic I was feeling over the posibility of not getting on line forced me to try the ccleaner. I now have 29% free space. I did have 30 but ran the defrag and it took 1%. Not surprising since the files were in bad shape.

Thanks Liz for the PM I would not have seen this otherwise. Did you PM Puck too? He is more used to remote administration then I am and being closer he might take less time.

MOFF, keep an eye tomorrow on the hard drive free space as this could be malware creating snapshots of your hard drive and storing them and eating up the free space. We saw this in the shop last month and without looking at your system I cant be of much help. If my buddy gets back to me on how he fixed it Ill chime in as fast as I can.

For now anytime you see a spike in hard drive usage run CCLeaner, and hopefully Catty can get into your system and find the problem.

Other info that can help Catty, Puck or myself would be, what anti virus are you using, are you using any malware scanners or spyware scanners? How long has this been happening? What programs have you installed before or since you noticed this problem?

How long has this been going on? I may be able to walk you through a system restore.

Im sorry you had to delete pics but I am betting the space is being eaten up else where.

Saving the worse for last, the program taking snapshots of your hard drive could also be sending them out to an unknown IP.

Catty1

There's also a Duplicate File Finder from Auslogics.

I was all set to remote in, but MOFF had freed up a lot of space with Ccleaner, and was happy with that for now.

But I WOULD like to know, as blue said, which anti-virus program you are using.

I'd still be happy to remote in and have a look around...you and I would be on chat so you and I would be able to communicate.

I call it 'the haunted computer' cause your cursor moves around the screen and it's not YOU using the mouse!

Again, I'd be happy to do a free inspection of your system...there might be something wacky there.

If nothing else, go to www.malwarebytes.com and download the free version. It heads straight for the nasties!;)

Thanks again everyone.

I use Norton for my virus prgram. It's suppose to check for all those scary malware and things.

My main problem is my Kodak easy share picture program I think. I had almost 3,000 pics on a 33GB hard drive. The problem started when I started taking lots of pics when Angel was born.

My bro got me an external hard drive over 900GB and I started moving pics to it (also making cd copies, just in case).

I had been told that pics take up lots of space so always kept an eye on my free space. When Chip and Chuck and their siblings were born, more pics.

So, I was moving pics and deleting them. Only thing, I think they weren't really being deleted. My cousin who sent me the link to the ccleaner, also listed everything I needed to check to have deleted. He also discribed what it did. I didn't know that deleting things from my recycle bin didn't really delete them.

Also, I had about 5 years of never cleaning cookies or temp files or any of that plus all the old updates that never deleted off. There were tons of java and flash files. I did about faint when I saw those deleting off because I use those a lot on playing games and stuff. All is working fine today. Still at 29% free.

My cousin suggests I run the ccleaner once a week.

My brother does have access to my computer so he got on and took a look see. We found where my Kodak program was stashing the original pics of ones I had enhanced. I got most of those off. I left some of the ones I might want to restore someday. There were over 2,000 of those.

Catty, I seem to have a bad habit of trying to grab the pointer when it moves on it's own. I had to finally put my hand behind my back while my bro was moving it around. :D

At least now I know who you all are who I can call on for help!!! :D
I do appreciate it more than you will ever know.:love:

MOFF Im glad my worries about your system werent the problem. 5 years of not cleaning out a system and large image files can take up alot of space. I hope you now have the Defrag set to automatically run once a week.

Crap Cleaner FTW!!!

Norton isnt on my top list of Anti Virus but it seems its been working for you so stick with it.

Ill second running CCleaner once a week. Ild also run a weekly scan with Norton.

Glad things have worked out so far, and Im happy to help if you ever need it.

Ild still keep an eye on the hard drive free space for a few more days but it sounds like you got it handled.

I also go into "run" and type in "cookies" then "OK". These are copies of ALL the temporary internet files you've gone into. Highlight them all EXCEPT for "index". That is NEVER to be touched!!! It helped me free up ALOT of disk space.

Like you MOFF, I also download pictures from Kodak Easyshare onto my desktop to post. Once they're posted where I want them, I delete them from my desktop. Saves ALOT of space!! And the pictures are still on my Kodak program without taking up alot of space. My computer is set to defrag every Wednesday in the middle of the night so my 'puter time isn't interrupted.

Give Chip and Chuck kisses from me and Butcie!! Those little devils MADE the trip to CT more memorable. And they are SO adorable!!

To give you all an idea of how full my hard drive is, when I do a complete system virus scan, it now takes 12 hours. I know because I did one of the 8th. It didn't take that long when I first got my computer but over the years (as the hard drive filled up) took longer and longer. :D

I have 27% free today but did delete 50 some pics yesterday. When I move them to my alternate drive, I have to go through outlook express to do it. That thing may be hiding them somewhere too.

I'm just going to move some pics today without deleting any and see what the free space does.

moosmon I'm sure the catmobile trip was more, um, adventurous with Chip and Chuck along. ;) Chip has a new talent now. He can jump from the floor into my freezer. My freezer is on top of the fridge at least 4 foot plus off the floor.

He surprised me my demonstrating his new talent when I opened the freezer door last night. I was sure surprised by that black kitty flying by my shoulder and landing on the frozen peas. :D

Hi, Chip and Chuck and big sis Angel... how's things?

Your fan,
Elyse

Things are as usual. Good thing is my computer is holding at 24% free space since I stopped deleting pics. I'm still copying them on my alternat drive though. I haven't done the cclean thingy this week yet.

Don't know if it's the blue moon or the wind or the change in temps but the kitty natives have been really jazzed up today.

rg_girlca good to see you back on PT. The kits say thanks for the good wishes!!!

Happy 8-month birthday, Chuck and Chip!

How are you? How is big sis Angel? How are Winnie, Chester and Grandma? Could you please have meowmie give all of you some scritchies and hugs from me?

P.S., what are you hoping Santa Paws brings you for Christmas?

Your fan,
Elyse

They are all doing well. Chuck is getting to be a big big boy. He looks a lot like Chester now. I sometimes call him Chunk. ;) Chip is still a terror, into and onto everything.
The others are all doing well too. All luvies and kisses delivered.
Their Chistsmas list was really short: toys, treats, toys. :D

Just an update on the kids:

Chip is still his ornery self. Today he's in lock down in the kitchen. I got a fright this morning. I had made a pot of tea and was washing some dishes while it steeped. The teapot was sitting on the enamal part of the cook stove.

When I turned around, I saw a trail of lots of red drips all over the washer and dripping down. Looked just like blood for a second. Then I realized it couldn't be because there was nothing around that could have harmed any of the cats. I followed the trail and found Chip hunkered over something on the floor.

The stinker had stolen my tea bag out of the teapot and was chewing on it. When I looked at the pot, the lid had been lifted just a bit and the teabag was gone. It was a fruit tea so that's why it was red. Chip is still in a snit because I took the tea bag away from him.

Chuck: has calmed down a lot and is allowed more free time with me in the rest of the house. He still does have his 'moments' of hysteria though.

Chester, Winnie, and Grandma are all being very very good. Miss Angel is being an Angel, well most of the time. She still sasses me from time to time.

I hope to post a few pics after Christmas but the old computer still not doing too good on free space so I'll just have to wait and see. They all send kisses and luvies to all.

Hi MoFF,
Your telling about Chip and the tea bag had me laughing out loud. I do understand how you must have felt seeing the red drops on the counter. Glad to know that no kitties were injured.
Happy to hear that your fur crew is doing well and patiently waiting foor Santa Paws. Could I ask you to give each of them lots of lovies from me?

I just have to tell on Chip. (again)
We were in the kitchen last night and he was jumping around and swatting at something. I couldn't see anything and none of the others were looking like they noticed anything. He just kept it up. Finally I grabbed him and noticed his eyes were crossed. There was a big dust fuzzy between his eyes. hahahahahaha
Silly boy!!! I took it off and he was a happy fellow.:D:love:

Hi MoFF, has Chip been behaving himself lately?

That depends on what you mean by behaving himself! :D He has been trying to jump up on one of the set of shelves in the kitchen that I have stuffed with things from other places that he is not to mess with. He thinks rules are fine for everyone but himself!!! ;)

Poor Chuck got a toe stuck in the bathroom door this morning. I've caught him playing with the hinges and the crack of the door when the door opens lots of times. Ive shooed him away and told him he would get his toe stuck one day. Well today was the day.

He wasn't near the door when I went in but when I opened the door to come out, I heard him yell. I shut the door fast because I was sure what happened.

He ran away from the door so when I got out, I tracked him down. It doesn't look like it was hurt too badly. No limping or swelling. I'll keep an eye on it to be sure he's ok. Of course, I did kiss his toesies to make it better.

Hi, Chip and Chuck! You're going to be 10 months old next week! How are you?

Chuck has settled down into a BIG almost grown-up cat. He plays but is seldom wild like Chip. He is bigger than Chester now and still growing. I can hardly get my arms around him to pick him up. He loves being cuddled though so I manage. :D

Chip is still a holy terror. Nothing anywhere in the house is safe from him. He wants to see and do everything. He allows nothing to get in his way either. He loves cuddles too but is fidgety. When you pick him up, he wants down, when you put him down, he wants picked up. He wears me out and turns the house and my life upside down.

I can't imagine life without either of them now. :D

Hy Chip tell your mewme that this is the job you signed on for to keep her active.
I have Lucky that's the same way, now after almost 3 1/2 years he's getting a bit more snugly, but has not slowed down.

Hello, Chip and Chuck! Happy 10-month-day! How are you?

They have been being surprisingly good. They have been staying up all night helping Angel, Winnie, and Chester stalk a mousie that was dumb enough to get in the house. It hid out under the washer/dryer for about a week, then moved to under the fridge yesterday.

We had an adventure this morning. While changing the litter boxes no less. Chip and Chuck were in their cases because they 'help' too much, Chester was in the front room and grandma in the bedroom. Angel and Winnie were in the kitchen supervising me.

I had just swept the floor when I saw a movement under the fridge. Yep, the mousie. I thought he would go back under since I was there and making so much noise. Poor thing must have been starving because once his beady little eyes saw the cats bowl overflowing with crunchy food, he went for it.

Didn't get far when Winnie nabbed him. Now what was I to do? Didn't want her to eat him and Angel was wanting part of him too. So, I thought I'd take Winnie outside and maybe she would let him go. (that worked with Grandma once).

She dropped him before we got to the door. I was yelling and jumping around because I have sweat pants on and didn't want him coming up my leg. Angel and Winnie were trying to catch him.

As luck would have it, he ran smack into one of the litter boxes and stunned himself briefly. Then he ran into my dustpan. I have one that has a long handle and closes up for easy storage. It was full of dust fuzzies the the cats had been dragging out from under the fridge and washer and dryer in their quest for the mousie.

Poor thing was probably gasping for air by the time I got him outside. I just dumped him out. He was stunned but alive and covered with dust bunnies.

When I went back out to take the trash out, I peeked at where he was and he was no longer there. I hope he doesn't come back inside. I might not be able to save him next time. Of course, I praised Winnie and gave her lots of hugs for saving me from the ebil mousie.

Dear Chip and Chuck,

How are you getting along with your new little brother Frankie? I understand from meowmie's posts that he can be a a bit of a scamp :) How are Angel and Winnie, and your best big brother Chester? How is Grandma --does she still keep to the bedroom?

Your admiring fan,

Chip and Chuck and all the others are doing fine.

Frankie or Frankie-stein as they sometimes think of him, sure gives them a run for their money. He even chases Chip around and gives him a bit of his own medicine back. Chip has a tendency to be a bully and pick on the others.

It's so funny to watch Frankie get up on his toes and hunch his back then chase Chip for a change. Chip is not sure what to do about that.

Chuckie alerted me to a problem with my AC the other day. He started looking into the area where the filter is. It's behind a metal door that folds down so I can change the filter easily. He looked like a bird dog hitting on prey and would not stay away.

So, I opened that door and found water on the floor. I have central heat and AC. they are in the same unit. So, I called the repair guys.

The condensation drain pipe was plugged up. So they fixed that and while they were there, they found another problem that kept the air from going up the vents like it should. The air was just blowing into that little room where the system is instead of up the vents like it should. They fixed that too. Now we are way more comfortable. I wondered why it was so cold it the house last winter. Apparently that had needed fixing for a while.

Chuckie got a big hug and extra treat!!!

Grandma still hangs out in the bedroom most of the time. She has been seen sneaking out to play with that bug toy you can see in the pics under Frankie's thread. She loves it. It makes a squeak when she touches it. I'll sometimes see it fly through the air by the door when I'm in the bed room and she is here in the front room. When she sees me watching, she just walks away like she wasn't doing a thing.

Angel, even surpised me yesterday. She came up all on her own and allowed me to not only scratch her chin, but pet her for a bit!!! Miss "don't touch me" came to me. wow!!!

Winnie is a big love bug and love tummy rubs. Can't believe she was the 'cat from heck' before she moved in.

Chester has been playing fetch with me a lot lately.

They all say, Thanks for asking about them and send luvies to you and yours.:love::love::love::love::love::love::love:

Hi Chip and Chuck,
How are you fellas doing? Are you behaving yourselves and not making your Meowmie crazy? Chuck, you did a super job finding a problem with the air conditioner and letting your Meowmie know to call the repairman.

Please be good there, guys. There's a BIG BIG BIG Catmobile party coming up in September and we don't want you both to miss out because you're grounded again.

Please give your Meowmie some purrs and headbumpies from me? I hope to see you and your fursibs very soon.

Your friend,
Groucho
