Guess what, my dad has a little black "fren" hanging around the yard! He's actually got 3 frens, a tabby and white, a big grey and white and the little blackie. He's partial to the blackie, who is the smallest of the three. Hasn't been able to get a picture of him (we think it's a him) yet.

Which got me thinking about all of the black cats on PT! They are so beautiful! Here are just some of them. :love: you, black kitties!

I've always loved black cats and I think that they're very special. I wish that my RB Pepper was still with me.:( I used to call him my black teddy bear. Here's a few pictures of him.

cassiesmom- The title of this thread caught my eye and I thought I would have the chance to show Samanth off again ...LOL! I opened it up and saw the first picture and thought "Gee, that one looks exactly like my Samantha!"... Scrolled down and did a double take... it WAS Samantha! I STILL think she is a beauty, no matter WHO posts her beautiful pictures! I just wish the pictures could capture her sweetness!

Come on people, I KNOW there are a lot more BB's out there! (Beautiful Blackies) We want to see them!

I love blackies too! I had a black kitty named Jasmine (aka Jasper and Jazz). That was before digital cameras so I'll have to look through old photos and see if I have a picture of her. She was solid black with a few white hairs on her chest.

My dad's little black kitty "fren" was back in the yard again today. He hides a lot which makes him hard to see, but dad is trying to coax him out a bit. He is worried that little black kitty will try to cross the street and not be seen by a driver. Plus they have raccoons and possums hanging around and he doesn't want little black kitty to get bitten. My dad is such a soft touch- takes after his daughter :rolleyes:

Jasmine's eyes are changing from yellow to green, depending on the light. I was wondering whether it's something more frequent with blackies, due to the background of their coat for instance. Does anyone know? What about the eye colour of your black kitties? I am curious
