My Sugar turns 13 today! It is all HER fault I am so bichonipated, lol. She was the first!
Sugar arrived here Dec 9, 2006, at 9.5 years of age. Blind with age related cataracts. Now she has perfect vision, and lives with 3 other fluffs, 10 cats, one crazy man and one nutty lady! :laughing:
We took a nice long walk on the farm this morning, then came back and she had a soothing bath. Special dinner (one I haven't made for them in 3 months), and now she is taking her very well deserved after noon nap!
Sugar has started showing her age. :sad: Her neck thickened up over the winter, as it does with older dogs, and she is loosing her hearing. I have to use hand signals to get her to do things, quite often now. She is still alpha around here, and doesn't hesitate to charge another dog if she thinks a member of her pack is in danger! She is still my little Sugar Dugar!
