China has been stripped of the bronze medal won for gymnastics at Sydney in 2000.

Dong Fangxiao’s results from Sydney were wiped out in February after the International Gymnastics Federation determined she was only 14 at the 2000 Olympics. Gymnasts must turn 16 during the Olympicto year to be eligible.

Yep that's right. And she and the Chinese Govt just kept lieing about the whole age thing. I mean geez......if medals are so important, and they have to be dishonest about it, why don't they get one of their factories to produce billions of them ??? And give one to every Chinaman in the world :p

I feel sad for the US athlete. Does she just get a bronze medal in the mail? NOW?! And how many web sites list the winners; they won't be updated.
