I have to comment on this. This is not a knock against anyone, anything or any current event. It's just the way the 'headline writers' on the InnerWebs write them.

I did wrote headlines in school and learned that you must pique the interest of the reader! So I laugh when I see a headline like this.....

Icelanders anxiously watch volcano.

To me? I get about four "stories" from every headline I read.

This one is especially tasty!

What could that volcano do that hasn't been already seen?

Tricks? Smoke? Explode?

It makes me think about thousands of Anxious Icelanders in a giant circle around the crater, fidgeting in worry.

If I was in the area?

I am moving up wind of the dang thing. I ain't wasting no time trying to figure out or to "nervously watch". I don't have eyes on the back of my head so I'll miss the show!!! In other words? Buh Bye!

God bless the people that live there! This may be worse than a hurricane, twister, flood or ???? As I have said before, you get a little warning with stuff like this-Earthquakes are a part of volcano eruptions so they really don't count....

We don't see volcanos often-and certainly not as close as they are seeing it.

I hope it ends soon and with little fanfare.

God only knows that you have to worry about two things?

The earth moving and the earth exploding.

Mother Nature sure has been pissy lately!:(
