Modern tech has added winglets to the end of an airplane wing to reduce the
turbulence off of the tip of the wing. It reduces drag on the wing and makes it more fuel efficient.

The military has added them onto cargo planes....

But,

What the heck is going on with the Edster?

I have a story to tell about ED, the Flying Cat!

MY GF and I were gathering clothes to put into the laundry.

She was in the bedroom and I was standing in a hallway next to the bathroom.

She asked me to toss the towels that were hanging in the BR into the pile she had started in the room.

I took the WHITE towels, bunched them up and tossed them into the room.

I heard her yell, "EDDIE!", so I went into the room and saw her standing over the pile of clothes.

I asked her what had happened and she was hyperventilating-

She was trying to see where he was after he landed!

She thought the WHITE towel was ED flying thru the room!

I still remember that day and laugh about it.

Thanks for reminding me.:D

I think it's to make Ed look fast, y'know, like Snoopy w/his goggles and the scarf that's looks like it's been starched. ;)
