I kinda want to cry...my baby kitten is officially gone! Felix is bigger than Gypsy and probably bigger than Lexi (it's hard to tell cause Lexi's got so much long fur)

Proof of him vs. Gypsy:

I miss the baby kitty we rescued...this Felix is big, fat, and he likes to ambush your feet in the morning. My mom is also considering taking him back to be declawed, because he's turned into SUCH a little devil. You can hardly pet him without him attacking your hand. -_- I'm launching counter attacks against THAT plan, don't worry. As long as I have a say, Felix won't be losing any digits.

Buy her a spray bottle - and a squirt gun! I'm sure he still thinks he's a baby kitty!

Felix, you are so handsome!

My brother's family's cat Milo likes to grab our hands with his claws extended when we pet him. My sister-in-law bought him a couple of toys that are on sticks, so he can learn that they are okay to grab and hands are not. It's taken a long time but he is getting much better. He mostly grabs with his claws when he's had enough or if he is petted somewhere he does not like to be touched, like his back legs. Hang in there! (Claw caps, maybe?)

He sure has turned into a very handsome cat.:) Keep his nails trimmed so he can't do as much damage. If he likes catnip then buy some catnip spray and spray some toys or a scratching post with it. Good luck.:)

I also recommend the squirt gun- and you should use it in a surprising way;)

They can't stay little forever, Mom. ;) He's a big, handsome boy now. A scratching post, catnip and a squirt gun work wonders w/rambunctious kitties. :)

Wow Felix has grown up, they all grow up so fast, don't they.

I hope your mom won't declaw him, I know it's rough with kitten claws.

This was the best website I found to try to get people not to do this.

I know...I just want him to be a baby again! I feel so cheated out of his kittenhood, since the vets estimate him at around 20 weeks of age by the time he came into our care.

Right now I've been flicking him in the nose when he attacks me :p but the squirt gun is a good idea. I'll have to see if we have one. With my luck, he'll love being sprayed with water
