I am not using my usual computer - this one seems newer and I gave my older one away to a broke person.

Several times I have clicked on "Submit New Thread" and have gotten a message that a security token was missing, and to contact the administrator (the latter is a LINK).

I just click back on my browser, and re-submit and all is well.

I have done several in-depth scans on this computer so far.

Also - my AVG 9.0 which I installed yesterday just told me it needs to restart the computer to finish updating. WTH??? Never seen that before. (Sorry OT)

Are you using "Firefox" for a brower? This is an issue sometimes with this browser.

Most new programs expect you to reboot your computer before the program is completely installed. This is normal

There are different setting on your new PC, you can change them to allow access without prompting you for a "certificate." Check ALL your browser preferences.

K - not sure where the Preferences are on Firefox, but went in to internet options under Tools.

I have installed AVG 9.0 before many times, and never received that notice.

Well, it's still running! LOL
Thanks.

ETA: Pressed Submit and got the darn token thing again...off to search Google....

A little searching found this:

http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?340825-Firefox-3.6-users-getting-Security-Token-Errors-when-posting-on-forums

Apparently it's a known problem in Firefox 3.6, although I'm not having issues over here.

For diagnostic purposes, the following is my User Agent information:

Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.2.2pre) Gecko/20100314 Ubuntu/10.04 (lucid) Namoroka/3.6.2pre

Maybe your token is with the keys?

I use Firefox 3.6 and don't have a problem.

Just saying.
