Artwise, I mean! (otherwise I've actually had nothing interesting happen, hence the lack of me around PT)

Basically, I have a plan. Instead of waiting in vain for money I'm not going to get for posters I can't afford, I'm going to make my own! By that I mean I'm going to draw the four Beatles on separate pages in my sketchbook, then take them out and put it together all pretty somehow, then put THAT on my wall. (: It's a good plan. I started Ringo last night, you'll see him later on.

The other two drawings aren't new cause you've seen both but one has since been finished and the other is a better picture.

Here is the finished John Lennon drawing. I kind of wish I'd done it in color, but I can't really change that now so here it is:

Here is the horse I drew a few nights ago...a quick, stress relieving drawing to chill me out between John and Ringo.

And here is Ringo! I've even done some since this picture (I'm up to his collar now, haha). I figured I could get away with a few technical errors on his face XD So far maybe an hour?

I'm quite proud of the eyes :)

One might be tempted to say...wow, you draw the beatles a lot. Yes, I do. I'm still learning how to draw people and I figure I might as well draw people I like Plus this one is serving a dual purpose: teach me to draw humans and decorate my walls.

You can always "colorize" it on the computer just for fun!

Very good! You could always get a set of graphite pencils that varies from HB to B9. :) That will give your drawings a lot of definition.

That's a good idea! I'm off school tomorrow...maybe that's how I'll spend it! teehee

I have from 5H to 6B that I got as a gift from my grandpa, I just tend to get "stuck" in one area...either I'll use all of the high B ones and then it's got no detail or else I'll use all H ones and then again, it's all grey and blah.

I'm super stuck on Ringo's mouth right now...

Here's the picture I'm drawing off of:

and here's what I keep ending up with as a mouth. I know the shape is off but no matter what I do I just can't get it right!! The picture makes everything look kinda warped cause I took it at an angle, so ignore everything but the mouth here. HELP?!

The dip in the center of his upper lip needs to be further to the right, and shading to account for the fact that you can see the bottoms of those teeth, and more shading on the teeth themselves will help.

I see what you mean, thanks! While I have that picture up, is there anything else you see that needs to be fixed? After working on it for 10 minutes I realized the neck is a little off, but I dunno what else.
