Chihuahua Adopts Two Rejected Kittens

Two abandoned kittens have found an unexpected adoptive mother in a chihuahua, a recent new mom herself, who immediately accepted the kittens into her brood.

TWO of the kittens under the care of Tinkerbell the chihuahua are feeding from the dog and thriving.

Angie Reynolds, who saved the kittens by placing them with Tinkerbell and her four pups, said one kitten was euthanised at the weekend after it started to have seizures.

"I bought a heat pad and removed the kitten from Tinkerbell because it was sedated and could have been crushed," Ms Reynolds said.

"But the poor little thing was really struggling."

The other kittens have already found homes to go to when they say goodbye to their canine "mother" in three or four weeks' time.

"Their eyes are open and they are moving around and feeding from Tinkerbell," Ms Reynolds said.

Happy news is good news!

I have found that sometimes the link originally posted is tied to the news sources hoMe page. So when the news source changes the news on its home page, the link is to that instead of the intended story.

But, Wom, toilet paper can be interesting, as you have found out!

Tinkerbelle, What a wonderful mommy you are to those poor baby kittens. And I must tell you how beautiful your own babies are! How nice that all the babies get along so well. If I could, I'd give you tons of puppy lovies along with lots of your favorite treats to thank you for caring for the baby kittens. You've given them a real chance for a happy life. May yours be filled with nothing but love!
