Thanks, Mary. I posted this on my Facebook page, and on the page of the gal whose dog had 8 puppies, and she 'doesn't get' the necessity to spay and neuter every animal she has (the latest was an "accidental" breeding. )

:( Yes it was very Sad.. Good Example is just 2 weeks ago I took in a Beautifull 5 year old cat due to the couple wanted 2 young puppies for their son.. The 5 yr old cat had been with them since 5 wks of age & they just told me that she was too much trouble anymore & since they had the new puppies it would not work.. Also part of the too much trouble is the cat was going into heat due to they had never spayed her.. Well this 5 yr old cat is with me now & she is scheduled for spay surgery this Thursday morning.. I am so worried with her being 5 yrs old & all.. **Now to the video we just watched = just wait till the new puppies that this couple just got gets too old or hard to handle.. :(

The saddest thing about this is, that people still find all these excuses acceptable.

This is so sad, Mary. I'm posting it on my FB page as well. I hope that's OK.

Of course. The more people that see it, the better. I posted it on my FB page, too. :)

Very sad indeed. Working at an animal shelter, I hear and see these "excuses" every day and it breaks my heart. :(
