I'm so proud of her. signing has had amazing results with Hannah and I am so proud of her. I am her mom so I am supposed to feel these things but she is just so smart and it amazes me everyday to see her growing and learning. can you believe she is 2 years and 4 months ALREADY? it's crazy

That is awesome!! I taught my babies sign when I worked in the day care center. The parents LOVED it!
Also, when I taught a private Kindergarten class one of my students' father was deaf. So he helped me teach the class the ABC song (because there's more than just the letters ya know :p).

I took sign language as one of my foreign language requirements in college, but I don't remember anything!!! It is cool Hannah is learning!!!

That's awesome!

Signing has been the biggest blessing in our house. Nathan's nonverbal, but is able to communicate with us through sign. He can hear and understand us, but he doesn't talk. So our house is more the opposite of yours, he's doing the signing and we're verbalizing what he signs (though we do sign to him too).

So cute! I don't know which one of your pups was sitting next to her but it looked like she (Belle?) wanted to play too :)

HA I didn't even notice Belle sitting there before LOL. It's like she was thinking "HEY I wanna guess TOO" lol yeah usually if there is a dog nearby in a picture or video.. it's Belle lol. They are two peas in a pod. I was cracking up the other day when Hannah was on her potty. I blow bubbles for her just to keep her sitting for more than 5 seconds. Well belle comes up and sits right beside Hannah and they had the same look on their face everytime I would blow the bubbles. Eyes wide and head moving to follow the bubbles and then they would both reach out to touch them lol it was funny.

Thanks everyone. yes I love signing with her. It's so fun and a great way for them to communicate and great for their motorskill development.

Hannah knows her alphabet in sign but it's so cute to watch her try to do it. Some of the finger positions are a bit difficult but she tries lol. it's really cute

My boyfriend's nephew was non-verbal for two years, and he just started talking like crazy at three years old! He knows sign, too as well. When I have kids of my own, I will teach them sign. I can't wait for that.
