Winter is tough on everyone, even indoor cats. The air is so dry that when I reached out to pet my cats, they would flinch away, in anticipation of the electric shock. So, for the improved health of my pets, my furniture, and myself, I finally bought a humidifier.

Most people use a hygrometer to measure the amount of water in the air, but I find Sassy's fur works just as well; his fur is long and fine and very sensitive to humidity. If I can pet him without sparks flying off his coat, the humidity level is optimal.

Just another way in which cats improve our lives! And here's a picture of my Sassy.

Before I put the humidifier in there would be lots of static cling among the Found Cats too. Moose would be especially hard hit as hes so plush and things would stick to him.
Sassy certainly is one Amazing Plush Cat!!!:love::love:

I hate the cold weather... get out of the car, turn to shut the door and "ZAP!"..

Sassy sure is a handsome baby! Wow! He's a real looker!
