TV chef slammed for cooking Hitler's favourite meal
A Belgian celebrity chef has been criticised for cooking Hitler's favourite meal on his TV show.
Jeroen Meeuws was filmed preparing trout in butter sauce at the dictator's Eagle's Nest retreat in Berchtesgaden, Germany.
It was for a series of programmes in which the chef cooks the favourite dishes of famous - and infamous - people which has also featured meals enjoyed by Jacques Brel and Salvador Dali.
François de Coster, president of the Belgian prisoners of war organisation, said the Hitler episode was a step too far, reports the Antwerp Gazette.
"There are still people living in Belgium who lost a member of the family or who spent time in the political prisoner camps," he said.
"They had to live on oak tree tea and a dry piece of bread a day. It’s shameless what the Belgian television is broadcasting."

I don't know how to feel about this story.......
But, I thought about the Jeffrey Dahmer episode and remembered the old adage.... You are what you eat???:eek::mad::rolleyes:
