I received this in an email from a friend today:

This little cat desperately needs a home. She is very unhappy. There are 2 cats in my home who are picking on her constantly. Cassie is a 3 yr old Desert Lynx (rare breed). She has beautiful markings, huge blue eyes and a little stub tail. She looks like a little bobcat. She has a very sweet personality and would make a wonderful companion kitty as she loves to sit with me in my chair while I am watching TV and sleep very closely with me in bed. She is also a talker and loves to chat all the time. She would be fine with other (non-dominate) cats. She is spayed and current on shots. I am asking a small rehoming fee.

If you would like to know more about Cassie pls. contact me at [email protected] .

Oh sorry, I accidentally copied and pasted only part of the email. She's in Massillon, Ohio.

Goodness, she looks like a blue-eyed version of Caly! Unfortunately, Caly would undoubtedly chase her around because that's how he rolls, so the poor girl wouldn't be happy here either. I hope the little beauty gets a great home.

I received a PM from a reputable shelter and I passed the info on to Cassie's owner. I later received this email so it's looking good for this sweet kitty:

Mary, What a sweet thing to do. I thank you so much for your help. However hopefully, Cassie may be going home with a really nice gal this weekend. (Nothing is ever set in stone until you see their little eyes out of the back window of that car taking them to their new home.)
It would be the perfect situation for her *woman for her Mommy (she is a woman's cat) and a laid back male cat for her new brother).. I am praying that the woman does not back out.
I will keep your information though and hope that I do not have to surrender her to a shelter. She would be completely devasted if I had to do that. I volunteer with a rescue group and have her information out there so we will keep at it...
Again, I can not thank you enough for getting involved.
Sincerely, Judi
