Step 1: Decide your dog needs an elevated food dish. Buy elevated food dish.
Step 2: Use as directed. Fill bottom storage up with dog food, attach water bottle for automatic water.
Step 3: Remove water bottle from dog's mouth. Tell dog that water bottle is not a toy.
Step 4: Buy new water bottle, make sure it is firmly attached, rub with bitter apple.
Step 5: Remove water bottle from dogs mouth. Throw water bottle away. Give up on the automatic water.
Step 6: Dog figured out how to flip the top off, and is now eating freely from the food storage. Tell the dog "no" and put the top back on.
Step 7: Discover entire food dish tipped over, dog food storage spilled all over. Clean up food, put back in bag. Give up on food storage.
Step 8: Put large rock in bottom of food storage.
Step 9: Put top back on, put 3 large rocks in bottom of food storage. Put large rock in food dish and water dish.
Step 10: Put top back on and rocks back in the food and water dishes. Duct tape top to bottom.
Step 11: Clean up tiny pieces of duct tape all over. Remove rocks from food and water dish. Give up on the rock idea.
Step 12: Let dog flip the top off, and replenish water often.
Nebo continued to flip the top off for several weeks. Now, for reasons unknown, he hasn't done it for a few days. I guess he has decided it is boring now. I'm a bit scared of what he will decide is "fun" next. lol.
