SNOW!!!

Valley Winter Song-FOW

And the snow is coming down
On our New England town
And it's been falling all day long
What else is new
What could I do
I wrote a valley winter song
To play for you

And late December
Can drag a man down
You feel it deep in your gut
Short days and afternoons spent pottering around
In a dark house with the windows painted shut

A winter's day
In a deep and dark December;
I am alone,
Gazing from my window to the streets below
On a freshly fallen silent shroud of snow.
I am a rock,
I am an island.
And a rock feels no pain
And an island never cries.

My favorite snow-shoveling song:

In the Deep Mid-winter

In the deep mid-winter, frosty wind made moan
Earth stood hard as iron, water like a stone
Snow had fallen, snow on snow, snow on snow
In the deep midwinter, lo-o-ong ago ...

****

Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow!

White Christmas

Frosty the Snowman

Walkin' in a Winter Wonderland

Silver Bells

Snowbird
...

I'll let others post some, but I know lots more!

I love snow!

Snow Bird, by Anne Murray. And I think some folks in the middle of our country are ready to BE snowbirds and head south! ;)

This isn't a song, it is a poem, which seems appropriate for PET talk:

Pet Snowball
I made myself a snowball
Just as perfect as could be.
I thought I'd keep it as a pet
And let it sleep with me
I gave it some pajamas
And a pillow for its head.
Then, last night it ran away,
But first . . . .it wet the bed!
